Breakfast & Lunch Since 1941. Please come and enjoy. 3rd generation.
We had breakfast while in the area. Service was alright. Our food was served warm, like it had sat awhile before being brought to us. The bottled orange juice was a brown color, not orange. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. I'm not sure we will be back the next time we are in the area.Sure not the things we like to hear, not sure why these issues my have occured, will address the ok service, food should be hot, brown OJ? Will call Dole. Thanks and hope to see you again.

We had a very nice lunch here. They were busy so service was slow. Sandwiches are very good. Greek salad was only fair. We would have lunch here again but would stick with the sandwiches.

Only 2 miles off of Hwy 70 in the heart of Kinston. An old Variety and Gas station with pumps still reading.79 cents a gallon. It has been a diner for over 25 years. The deco is very nostalgic filled with antique signs of the past. Has a wide variety of food ranging from their name sake hot dog, hamburgers, chicken, BBQ, shrimp burgers and more. They also have a varied breakfast menu as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our hot dog. My only caution would be that the restrooms were in operable so you may want to stop before you go there. We would definitely return. All the employees were extremely friendly and courteous.

My wife went out for breakfast on Friday morning on April 28th. She wanted to go to IHOP in Goldsboro NC, but I suggest Waffle House since we are from Kinston and there was a WH in Kinston. We went to the Waffle House and entered the facility. No one greeted us, said hello or asked did we need service or anything. We wanted to sit at a booth, but the table had dishes and was dirty. No one in the place made an effort to clean it up. We stood there in the middle of the floor waiting for some service or waiting for the booth to be cleaned for several minutes. It seemed like the wait staff there wanted to do as little as possible. This is a problem and I am sure I am not the first to write you about this particular location. After the lack of service, my wife and I ended up in Goldsboro at the IHOP. You need to fix the problem at this location.

Had a quick stop for a snack, as we stopped to take a picture of the iconic Silo, shown on our favorite show: A Chef's life. Grabbed and ice cream cone and really enjoyed it!
