Hi again...it's the travelin' agents from Consumers Travel World. Here we are on Long Island. This is a small diner located in a strip mall. To our surprise, at the height of the dinner hour, it was fairly empty. Then we saw the extensive---and expensive---menu. Any diner charging @ $20 for a turkey club shouldn't be a hole in the wall in a strip mall. I ordered one of the cheapest things on the menu...fried clams. It was a decent serving of clams with french fries. That's it...$12. No complaints about the food quality---just the ridiculous prices. And no senior discount!

I visited here earlier today with my sister, brother-in-law, and two nieces. We did not enjoy the food or the service. My sister and I both ordered wraps which were bland and soggy. The lemon chicken soup had barely any noodles or chicken. The chicken consommé was just not good. The kid's meals were very pricey and not really kid friendly. My nieces had the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese but they weren't done kid style (hard to explain- basically they needed to be simpler). It was $8.50 for each kid's meal. Our server seemed annoyed at our presence generally particularly when we were asking questions about the menu. Some of the items we ordered never arrived. Also, the bathrooms smelled horrible. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back to DC area. You get that great, real diner vibe right in the parking lot. Vintage building style, vintage decor. Big glass cases of pastries and cookies at the front entrance. Wait staff is friendly, a little cheeky, and very fun. Food is good, basic cooking. A surprise was the small glass of juice (you choose flavor) included with the breakfast selections. Another nice surprise was a plate of small muffins with butter offered gratis. Think this is a Saturday special. I had a poached egg with bacon and english muffin. Hubby had the western omelet with sausage. This comes with a pile of home fries and toast. You can tell this place is popular with locals. There's a relaxed easy feel to it. We enjoyed our hot breakfasts very much. Since we were from out of town, I asked Siri for the nearest McDonalds, figuring there would be one nearby. On our way to McDonalds, we saw this diner and detoured. Nothing against McDonalds, but glad we did! We would stop in here again.

Took the family here for dinner understanding that itâs a diner and not the Le Cirque. But I was expecting friendly staff and not seemingly annoyed staff that we were there. Yes, itâs a diner and have to keep that in mind. I could have tolerated the staff if the food was at least above average, which is wasnât. The Sliced Steak sandwich was over cooked and chewy, and my wifeâs omelette was also over cooked.

Great place to enjoy breakfast. Within close proximity of the Hicksville LIRR. Great pancakes with sausage and scratch made corned beef hash. Service was excellent and my coffee cup was always full.

Nice family diner on Hempstead turnpike, parking area. We had the French toast which was good, also 2 eggs with potatoes and toast, which was good. Also we had orange juice and tomato juice, with coffee, we enjoyed our breakfast. Not a bad price 20 dollars with tip. Good service also.

Located at an intersection at N. Broadway, this was an okay diner. The food was good and prices were reasonable but the service was not the best. We had a party of 10 and there were two adjacent tables open but the staff refused to put them together saying they were in two service zones meaning two different servers. REALLY??? So, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for an adjacent table to finish before they put two tables in the same zone together. It wasn't even that busy.
