Very much impressed with this diner. Cozy little place (and I do mean little) in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Amazing food, at reasonable prices. Waitstaff incredible, especially Lexie, our waitress.Managed to take care of 9 of us, without skipping a beat. (Thank you, Lexie)All were satisfied and most of us took 1/2 home. Not only a great diner, also has a bakery within, with AWESOME desserts to buy!!!Below is info for diner, specials of the day, Southwestern Chicken and Rice soup, my order of Grilled Ruben Sandwich w/ Onion Rings, slice of Triple layer chocolate Cake. Then, a card with bakery owners store info, who also sells desserts in the restaurant. My purchase for home(next photo)is 2x2 Maple and Chocolate Bumpy cupcakes and a Lemon Bar. Fantastic food and dessertsThere is outside seating. Make sure you get there early at lunchtime. We got there at 11:20 a.m.Place was loaded by 11 45a.m.You will not be disappointed to eat here.I'm so looking forward to going back soonLexie

Harvard Grill is at the corner of commercial Mack Ave and tree-lined Harvard Road in Grosse Pointe, MI. Family run place with friendly, attentive staff who made my young sons welcome (our waitress knew one of their school teachers). There will be a wait on Sundays and meal times, as the Grill is popular with local residents.Menu is a variety of comfort food, leading off with homemade soups and salads, and typical deli sandwiches at ~$5. The best, though, are the daily specials during the week ... Pot roast or sloppy joes (Mon) ... Chicken pot pie or short ribs (Tue) ... Meat loaf or goulash (Wed) ... Pork chop or spaghetti (Thu) ... and Broiled whitefish or Tilapia (Fri). At this grill they care about their food and obviously work hard to get it right. Just reading this menu makes me hungry.

Menu had more salads than Iâve ever seen in any other restaurant! Had the chicken fruit salad with poppy seed dressing & a side of sweet potato fries. Salad had banana slices, strawberry slices, mandarin oranges, nut, tomato, mixed greens, grilled chicken...delish. Fries were also quite good. Three dinners for another $40. Recommend.
Stopped here before closing and glad we did! Their food is amazing, especially the fried chocolate ice cream and fried strawberry cheesecake. Service was spectacular......super friendly and fast :) The sauce for the wedges was too hot for my taste though. I def'ly would go back!!
