An eclectic hometown watering hole housed in a 1900's repurposed Feed Store. [farmacy] provides creative, fresh, locally sustained food options that change regularly, a great wine selection, best craft beer around, and a cocktail menu designed by a self p
Although a clean and somewhat classy atmosphere, this restaurant leaves little else to admire. The menu is very limited with not much to choose from. Lobster roll with brown butter was ok. Certainly not the freshest lobster. It was served with homemade fingerling potato chips. House burger on a too thick focaccia was smallish served with a ton of fries. Both breads were close to being inedible due to charring. Tables were so small with terribly uncomfortable seats. We will not be back. Thanks for the input. With a completely fresh, never frozen, locally sourced menu it does tend to be on the smaller side if you are used to a menu from a restaurant with a different approach. Our menu always offers 5-8 small plates, 7-10 medium plates and 5-7 large plates, that change almost daily with what is locally available for the season. We certainly could see where that might pose challenges for some. Sorry to hear you won't be returning. We appreciate you giving us a try.

I found this spot on my way to the Glens Falls Civic Center for March (High School) Madness basketball..It seemed I was the only stranger in the place but the waitress was excellent..She made me feel at home. I enjoyed a very good breakfast and good coffee on a Saturday morning.

The hash was perfectly cooked-crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Omlet was light and fluffy. Got white toast instead of rye, The blueberry pancakes were good. Got margarine instead of butter. The 3 sausage links were the best links I've had in a long time. It's a tiny diner and very old, but also very clean. Will return.

This is definitely the locals' dining spot! With the exception of myself and my husband, the waitress greeted every person that entered by name and pretty much already knew what they wanted for breakfast! The food was cheap and very flavorful. Exactly what you expect from the outside of the building. No frills, very yummy!

We have been going to Ambrosia for years, almost since they opened whenever we are in the area. Breakfast and Lunches mostly but occasional dinners. They have a wide variety of choices for meals and in addition to daily specials have specials for lunch hours. These specials include soup/salad, entrée and selected dessert for one price. Our lunch today was very good. My associate had a BLT salad and I a Greek Salad with gyro meat included. Both were lunch size and were more than enough for our appitite. Both were made and not dumped as in starting with a base of greens, layered with accompaniments (as in cucumber, tomato, feta cheese etc) and topped with meat. Extra dressing was no problem. Both salads were made fresh and on the spot. One should save room for dessert for in addtion to standard dessert they have a wide selection of bakery goods including canoli's. In my mind, each bakery good was enough to share between two individuals. Staff is very friendly and effecient. Note for Veterans: They offer a military discount of 10%, bring your id card and let them know. In addition there is a sign about military (and I think first responders) at the entrance door. While in the Glen's Falls area, they remain our number 1 place to go to for meals.

We were vacationing in the area and read reviews about Steve's on TA so we thought we would have breakfast here one morning. The sign inside the door says seat yourself. There was only one table available so we did so and the waitress showed up in a short amount of time to get us coffees. The establishment was busy as it was a Sunday Morning. Our coffees came and we placed our orders. I was excited to find on this day biscuits and gravy were on the menu and they did not disappoint. My wife had an omelette which she enjoyed, but was disappointed with the home fries. The home fries tasted like boiled potatoes that hardly ever hit the grill. Ample parking in their parking lot. Pleasant and prompt service. We hope when we return that the potatoes are better.

Breakfast and Lunch served
Went for lunch, been going here for over 25 years. Never had a bad meal. Burgers are the best. Soup is outstanding. You pay for quality as Lunch can be expensive $40 for two with tip.If you enjoy a great meal give this place a try.
