Stepping into this dinner is like a trip down memory lane. We went there for lunch and our favorites turned out to be their warm meatloaf sandwich, burgers and BLT. The service we received was excellent.

Cafe Deja Vu is an old school, dated locals breakfast place. Needs some renovation work, decent food and decent staff. There seemed to be a couple tables that had complaints about either ordered items or obtaining a glass of water. I felt the staff was nice and folksy and the food good and decently priced. The menu is well balanced for breakfast.

Actually were looking for another diner but stopped here.Good choice.Great service.PROPERLY MADE SCRAMBLED EGGS(not chopped to death but folded and fluffy.)My friend loved his biscuits and gravy-no need to wash the dish.Strong coffee-almost bitter-even though each pot is freshly ground.Needs extra cream and sugar. Two people for breakfast was under $20 before tip.I tipped 25%.Great home fries.

I love diners. Just something about the lack of pretension and good down-home food that I really appreciate. George's really looks the part. Nice personable staff. I was rather disappointed with the food however. I had the fried chicken special. Breading on the chicken was completely tasteless. Chicken itself was ok. Soupy mashed potatoes and bland green beans. Red velvet cake was ok but frosting was runny and not very good. If I were to go back, I would try something off the regular menu vs the daily specials or maybe breakfast.
