For good diner food, with few frills, but good eats, this is an optimum choice. We liked the prompt service and the friendly smiles. Everything comes with fries, but if you ask politely they are happy to substitute the fries with something more reasonable. I took the cole slaw which was ample, with a healthy serving. The sandwiches are very good and freshly made. A good local choice.

Stopped here on a whim. Glad we did! Nice little, clean restaurant with a friendly staff, variety on the menu, and very reasonably priced. The food is very good. Keep in mind it is more like a diner and not a full service restaurant. This is a nice place for travellers to stop and mingle with the locals. We shall return.

I travel here at least once a month with a friend of mine for breakfast. Staff is friendly and knowledgable and gives good recommendations .I enjoy the Western omelet with home fries and onions with toast and coffee. Portions are very generous and you leave there full. Nice arrangement of booths so you can have a nice sit down breakfast and talk business or just quietly eat and not be bothered.

I have only eaten breakfast here but have had numerous over last few years meeting friends for sometimes rousing conversation. All that said it is a restaurant and I am more critical than many or indeed most. The breakfasts has been variable and mostly just average to below average for my tastes - but like I said I am more critical than most.

It's the "boys' breakfast out" on July 4th after the Lake of Fire, and this year one of "the girls" joined us. Not disappointed at all. The Eggs Benny were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was just lemony enough to make its point. The child's cakes & bacon filled a 5-year-old and had him smiling. Poached eggs were just right, and the service was funny, professional, & appropriately smart-alecky for a town diner. This is a decent roadside diner that's been tremendously cleaned up in the past few years (took long enough), but now we wouldn't pass it up when we need coffee & breakfast.

We stopped here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The service was good, and they were really busy. Our orders came out correctly and quickly. The portions were large and everything was good. Will have to come back for lunch to check out more on the menu. Would definitely return for breakfast.
