Alright... I'm impressed. This is an older location that had been a Waffle House, and then a nondescript local breakfast place. The new owner has completely redone the building! It looks new, fresh, clean, and inviting inside and out. I love supporting local business, so I had to stop in.First impression inside the door was very positive. Again, it was clean, bright, and roomy. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. The menu options were surprisingly varied. Although they serve breakfast all day, including a variety of appealing omelets, I chose a dinner menu option. I ordered the shrimp and grits, a southern favorite. Just for informational purposes, their hot dogs are grilled and come on a buttered bun. I appreciate the added effort that I will have to sample in the future.I was pleased with the amount of large shrimp, cheese, bacon, diced tomato, and green onion on the grits. No lack of flavorful toppings. The grits were smooth, but needed a bit more salt and pepper for my taste. I really enjoyed them. My cup of coffee never ran dry and they even offered to send me out with coffee to go. I plan to go back.

Second time we have been in Selma and visited this restaurant. Both times good food, fresh, hot and a large variety to choose from. The atmosphere is very family-oriented. The waitress we had was awesome and there with refills when needed. Definitely will be back on our next visit to the city..

2 for dinner. More for here than I've ever seen. OGreeted immediately, seated and order taken within 5 minutes. Evan, our server was top notch, quick with drink refills and brought our food fresh off the grill. Props to the 2 cooks. Overall.... Cheap eats, goto comfort food. Recommend the cheeseburgers "Carolina style". Shrimp burgers are great here as well.
