Fun place for brunches, weekends can be busy. Food is serviceable and good, nothing fancy, and prices are reasonable. One of the few diners that serves johnny cakes and I like it with their corned beef hash, which is home-made. We typically go for lunch during the weekdays and the crowd is usually pretty light. Wait staff is friendly but can be sassy, but in a good way, like Flo in Mel's diner. Often have specials listed on a board - their chicken noodle soup is well-made and tasty. Had a beef soup which was so thick it was more like a stew! It's easy to hear the conversation around you (so better not talk about a lot of intimate private stuff), fun to hear the waitresses bantering with the customers (esp. the regulars there), and no problem if you want to jump in!

Good prices, homemade hash. Avocado toast, good omelets. It is not the Ritz, it's a basic diner, but we like it and we like the variety and non standard menu items.
Basic breakfast items, unique specials, gluten-free and vegan options, sandwiches, homemade items
Arrive about 9am on Sunday morning with my wife. A short wait to be seated. Maybe 20 min. They have seating at a breakfast bar as well as many tables. Service was fantastic. Quick and super nice. I felt like even the clientele was super nice. Everyone waiting was in a great mood and talking. Food was really good. Came out quick and tasty. Omelet was delicious, Hash browns were very good as well. My wife had the quiche and she loved it. Very reasonably priced. Thanks

Step back in time at this eclectic train-car diner in the center of East Greenwich, RI. Eat in a booth or at the counter. The breakfast menu is astounding....almost too much to think about early in the morning. But take your time with it, there are lots of choices, from eggs to omelettes to sandwiches to Johnnycakes and everything in between. Diners can 'mix and match' their sides too, from traditional homefries to grits, fruit or really good corned beef hash. Eggs were fluffy; ham was traditional; potatoes were delicious. And they have Italian bread toast, which I've only found in one other Italian-American enclave...Waterbury, Connecticut. So check this place out. It's worth the wait on a Sunday morning or any morning. And try to meet the owner, she's wonderful.

Good ambiance as this is as old fashioned a diner as you'll ever find, even has the individual juke boxes scattered around. BUT, it's expensive for what you get. Almost $12 for 3 eggs, home fries and coffee (no toast). Omelets are terrible, they are thin flat eggs rolled over like cardboard. Value is awful for prices paid. I never see many cars here so in defense of the owner, s/he probably needs these high prices to stay afloat. Beacon Diner one mile north is a better choice...

Loved all of our food, except the clam fritters (not many clams). The clear broth clam chowder was delicious! Loved the fish 'n chips. The biscuits and sausage gravy had a bit of an Italian flavoring and was really good. Great home fries and eggs. Very friendly service and easy parking.
