We had breakfast here recently. This place is small but friendly and the food is delicious. They have all your basics...eggs any style, meats including goetta, and a serving of fried potatoes that is super generous. I had a pancake as a side. My husband says that this place and its menu reminds him of the cafes in Cheviot where he grew up. We want to come back for the famous double decker sandwiches. If you are in the area, you need to give Nick's Restaurant a try.

Love the place but feel it is a bit pricey yet I usually take some home for later. Just like most today we have been driven to order water instead of pricey drink. Food is always great. When will they learn lower drink prices and those glasses of water will become income. Thanks so much! We're happy to hear that you love our restaurant and enjoyed your meal as well. We can't wait to see you again soon!

Quaint little truck stop with a 24 hour diner minutes from Hollywood Casino, Lawrenceburg Indiana. Usual truck stop food with 24 hour breakfast. The 1 thing they have that makes them unique is Gliers Goetta Bites. Pronounced Get-ta, if you Wikipedia goetta you will read that it is a Cincinnati thing. I'll just call it a breakfast meat and leave it at that. You either like it or you don't. I personally love it and go to Goetta-fest every year. Enjoy!!

We were nearby trying to visit another local restaurant, but found it wasn't open, so came back to this little hole-in-the-wall. Had a great breakfast (their Cajun goetta is very tasty with just enough kick - put it in an omelette with some gooey cheese, onion, and green pepper and you'll be all set!) with friendly and fast service (although we do admit service can be slow at times, but not this time). We were here shortly after 7 a.m. on a Sunday morning when the place was pretty empty. We drove back by around 9 and saw the place was packed, so definitely early is better if you can swing it.

I go to Doris and Sonny's for breakfast. I order the special: 2 eggs, meat, home fries, toast and coffee for $7.25. I don't want the coffee and get a Coke, which I am charged extra for, which is fine. But because I didn't get coffee, instead of 7.25 I get charged $8, PLUS $1.99 for the Coke. So when I asked, I was basically told I had to get coffee-which would have sat there, because I don't drink coffee, to get that price. So for telling them not to bother to bring the coffee I got charged more. It was then explained to me, in a not so nice manner, how "specials" work in restaurants.....Oh and they only take cash.

I had the small Chicken BLT salad. It is one of my favorites. I got the small salad because portions are big in this restaurant. The food is good and the potions are generous making it a great value. This is a place that is frequented by the locals.
