The value of a chain restaurant is knowing you'll get the same type of food options no matter which location you visit (service is another topic). This Waffle House stayed true to its motto and delivered a hearty meal with good coffee. The clientele and wait staff were as non-assuming, decent, likable people as you'd ever meet. Good folks. Good food. What more can you ask from a Waffle House visit ("Want me to top that coffee off for you sugar")?

Very friendly and cozy small town feel to this restaurant in the heart of downtown...youngest daughter even gave it high marks! My other daughter said the homemade peanut butter pie was delicious, and the barbeque pork sandwich with slaw was a hit with me. Definitely would return!

We were looking for someplace quick to grab a light lunch, and the Village Diner fit the bill. We had their Chili-Cheese dog lunch special. Service was good, and the food was also. The building is unique, with the walls covered with local memorabilia and patriotic displays. Just a good, down-home place to eat.

I have always enjoyed dining at the Waffle House franchises nationwide when travelling. I have found the food to be consistently good. Now we have a Waffle House ten minutes from our home. When my daughter comes home for Christmas, we have a tradition of having breakfast on her birthday December 24 at the Waffle House. This year was no different. We arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 am. There were already several people eating there. We got a booth and our server came over right away. We both ordered hot chocolate, sausage patties, hash browns, and toast. The meals were hot and appetizing. You canât go wrong at this Waffle House. The staff is always courteous and friendly, the facility is bright and clean, the food is good, and the price is always reasonable.

I would never head to a place like this, but a friend has taken me twice. Can't beat the prices, service, or the food! Great place for brunch or lunch.
