When a restaurant is busy it usually indicates good food and service and the Vic reinforces this. Service was very friendly. They have all day breakfast which we all ordered. The food is excellent and the presentation on the plate was great. The place is small and because of the crowd, got quite loud but that would never deter us from going back again. I definitely will go back in the summer to take advantage of the patio.

My friends and I knew it was a family restaurant so nothing fancy there and we did not have much expectations. We still appreciated the curteous service we got there.

It's casual dining, with quick friendly service, good food and moderately priced.Went for breakfast after undergoing a procedure at the local hospital, and was I hungry. Looked at some Trip Advisor reviews and decided to give it a try.Food was cooked exactly as we asked, with a nice portion of homefries. They were topped with a tablespoon of sauteed sweet onions, instead of being mixed throughout, which I'd never seen before. A good idea !When my coffee is also included in the menu price, I'm a happy guy. I would go there again when in the area, no doubt about it.My Wife was very happy about the clean washrooms, always a good indicator of caring staff.They only do breakfast and lunch, closing about 1:00pm, and are about a km off Main Street, but well worth the short drive.

The Tambo snack bar has fantastic restaurant quality snacks worthy of any good restaurant. The milkshakes are made with fresh ingredients and are sooo delicious!!! Fries, poutine and fried pickles were all fresh tasting and nicely seasoned. This is not your ordinary chop wagon.
