We had a nice time at this Texas Roadhouse but the service was a little slow and some basic things like clean plates and special attention were missing. The issues were quickly and pleasantly resoved when they are brought to our servers attention. I had the steak and shrimp combo and it was cooked perfectly. My wife and friends were pleases with their meals but disappointed with the service as well. Our experience with this Texas Roadhouse was good but not great.

A short walk from the Blennerhassette.. Amazing home cooked meals, loved their hearty breakfast selections... If you find a book on their numerous shelves and like it... You can purchase it for .50 and the money goes to a local charity...

Corner Cafe is in kind of a weird location - attached to a car dealership - but don't let that deter you. They have a spacious, but simple, dining area with plenty of booths and tables. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast menu has the typical fare of eggs, pancakes, etc. Coffee is hot, good and replenished frequently. If you are in the downtown area, Corner Cafe is well worth the stop for breakfast!

Was visiting Parkersburg on business looking for a place to eat. Was directed to Mary B's. Place was packed with two seats to spare at the counter. Sat down and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak dinner and Ribeye steak dinner. Sides were homemade and delicious. Chicken Fried Steak was excellent. Ribye was amazing and better than most you find at Steakhouse. Took two fresh made huge Cinnamon rolls home which were very good. Total bill $29 minus tip. Staff were very friendly. It was like sitting around your family table for dinner.

It's not uncommon to see a line waiting for that delicious dog with chili. Not sure what or why or how they do it, but they really are good! A local favorite and people have been going for decades!
