Peteâs Place has been in Oakhurst a long time and every time Iâve been there, it does not disappoint. We had breakfast there this time. We had a 5 egg omelette with ham and cheese. More than enough for 2. Delicious! They serve breakfast till noon, lunch and dinner till 3 pm. When they close.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Without a doubt, the worst service I have ever seen in any restaurant. From being ignored waiting to be seated, to placing the order to receiving the food, the staff simply doesn't care and shows they don't want to be there. Denny's is like McDonalds, the food is about the same at every restaurant. Not here. They manage to make avg food, really bad. My wife's spaghetti was obviously microwaved, but cooked too long. Noodles dried out, meatballs tough and dried out. Chicken tenders were ok but one was nugget sized. Paid extra for seasoned fries. Asked for extra crispy. Served luke warm and soggy. Pancakes and sausage were fine. Bacon waa soggy. Waitress was no where to be found for coffee and iced tea refills. From being seated until food was served was over an hour. Restaurant had a table of 12 and 3 tables of 2 besides our table of 4. The group of 12 were there longer than us. From their first plate of food that was brought to rheir table to the last plate was more than 30 min. The food was brought 1 plate at a time and just every few minutes. When they finished, they were more than 30 min challenging their bill. If I had a phone signal, I would have searched for somewhere else. But figured a Denny's couldn't be that bad. Wow, was I wrong. This was on a Sat night at 530pm.
