Find out what Diner restaurants to try in Atlanta. Atlanta has been dubbed everything from the "capital of the new South" and "the next international city" to "the best place to do business." It's also a great place to visit. Fueled by the prosperity of local mega companies like Coca Cola and Holiday Inn, the prestige of hosting the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and the energy of young upwardly mobile types who have migrated to the city in droves - Atlanta is on fire. And this time it's a good thing. From world-class restaurants and a myriad of cultural attractions to a hip nightlife and sporting events galore, the city is cosmopolitan in every sense of the word. But Atlanta has also managed to maintain its historic character. Stop by the Atlanta History Center or visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon. Browse through the former home of famous author Margaret Mitchell or pop into the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum for details on the life and times of the former president and his family. Whether you choose modern urban endeavors or old southern pleasures, Atlanta will not disappoint.

Had breakfast here two weeks ago. Enjoyed it very much. Those in our party had various menu items such as French toast, ham & cheese omelet , scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits and bacon. Two eggs scrambled, grits, biscuits and bacon was $8.45. The food was very good and so was the service! Would definitely eat here again!

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at BoccaLupo last weekend. We started with the Bruschetta Banh Mi. Sweet and smoky pork belly, flavorful chicken liver and crisp carrots, scallions, and jalapeno sat on lightly toasted bread which soaked up the juices from the toppings nicely. Every bite of this dish was full of rich and fresh flavors. For my main dish I had the Black Spaghetti which was phenomenal! The savory and spicy spaghetti was filled with tender shrimp, flavorful sausage, and crisp scallions. The restaurant also has a nice wine list and a nice selection of local craft beer. Overall, BoccaLupo is now one of my favorite places to get freshly made flavorful pasta.

I have just finished lunch there. It was wonderful. Great service. I had the meat loaf. They really have outstanding vegetables. The fried green tomatoes have the perfect breading. This is the quintessential meat and two diner. We finished by splitting the peach cobbler. It is more than enough for two. Not particularly the cheapest place. They also have a large takeaway section. Let me suggest the vegetable soup.

This restauran toffers some of the best down home breakfast items in the South. From the homemade cinamon rolls that rival Cinnabon, to their Peach french toast, to the old fashioned salmon croquettes that remind you of your grandmas!!!! We went there two days in a row!!! Outstanding southern hospitality, and reasonable prices to boot.

We were visiting for the first time. There was a 30 minute wait but it moved along quickly. This place is cash only, I was prepared from reading the other reviews. This is a very busy place! It is small and resembles a diner with both counter service and table service. The waitress was okay. We were charged for an extra drink but she removed it once we brought it to her attention. Food....I had the fish&grits which was tasty and had a nice size piece of fish. Hubby had the shrimp and grits which he enjoyed. The shrimp were really tasty. Kids had chicken fingers and fries(fries are shoestring and the chicken tastes like they batter it in Pepsi) kids ate it but for the first time ever they werenât interested in taking their leftovers, burger and fries(basic), pancake and bacon(bacon was salty). Overall we left full but I wonât be breaking my neck to come back when visiting.
