Northside Grill

I love local joints like the Northside Grill. It is nothing fancy at all. Pure diner that I suspect has served locals, students and tourist for many years. The room is pure diner. Wooden tables, staff rushing about, pay at the register when you leave. Get in and out. Decor is not the appeal here. The service was diligent and attentive. The food served hot, coffee cup readily filled, check slapped down in the middle of the table. The food was similarly hearty in a true diner style. Well prepared with ample portions. No one complained or left hungry. Again, I love local joints like this and suggest you check it out. When I return to Ann Arbor I plan to return.

Bell's Diner

If you want a friendly, good basic American food for breakfast (I've only ever had breakfast there) then Bell's is a place you must go to. And if you want Korean, well, the world is your oyster.Good old-fashioned booths and tables, well-lit, excellent food, and reasonable prices, the only reason Bell's can't take you back to the good old days is because you've not been there before.

Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger

Ann Arbor's oldest hamburger stand since 1953. Serving made to order sliders cooked in front of you as you order. Beef ground fresh on site daily. Homemade onion rings and deep fried veggies.

Absolutely yummy burgers, fries, and onion rings in Ann Arbor! there is a process to ordering that must be followed, otherwise you will be asked to leave (just kidding!). I highly recommend eating at this amazing place that has been around since 1953. Everything was perfect and delicious! Don't listen to the idiots giving this place anything less than 5 Stars. Go Blimpy Burgers!!! 5 Stars!

Fleetwood Diner

We tried to eat here during the Ann Arbor art show. Placed our order at 7 pm and walked out at 7:35 pm. The waitress was in way over her head. They needed more staff. It seems that there are too many seats for the size of the kitchen. While waiting we saw the waitress be EXTRAORDINARILY RUDE to a group of four. The group of four placed their orders but the waitress was still rude. We and the four other people walked out together. I will say that maybe the waitress is a great worker under normal circumstances or perhaps someone called off sick or just didn't show.
