Had dinner tonight. 2 starters: fried artichokes and avocado/pepper tartare over quinoa; 2 first courses: risotto with red cabbage & fried chickpea garnish; 2 desserts: Pistacchio cheesecake and molten chocolate soufflé;and, a bottle of organic red wine blend. It was all delicious. The staff was sweet and kind and spoke English. If I lived here, Iâd go all the time. Wonderful experience. Not to be missed. Donât be afraid of the âveganâ menu. Weâre not vegan but still loved it all.

We had breakfast daily in this nice cafe with umbrellas and chairs in the old piazza. Pleasant service and excellent pastries, fresh juice, coffees and English breakfast tea. If we had stayed longer we would have tried drinks and supper in the evening.

Italians do not really like to have a complete breakfast, but in this café you can get yoghurt with fresh fruit and bread with ham, cheese or something sweet. Orangejuice and coffee make it a perfect start of the day. Service is also very good.

High quality ingredients locally sourced and excellently executed for a top notch, star-restaurant-quality food experience delivered at your premises, is just fantastic...The variety of the menu is also impressive for "just a take-away" of a small town, if I had to spend the summer in Trani I would order every day delicatessen from those guys and get it delivered instead of going to restaurants or cook in the heat....All in all: 5 stars!

In my stay in Trani I found out about this place. If you see this place in the morning look like an ordinary place but in the night is turning in a superb location with a nice music In a nice warm summer night this is the best location in Trani I did enjoy their wine list and their paniniAll staff are friendly For sure I will visit this place next time I will visit TraniOnly one bad thing I have to say about il vecchio e il mare and is about the toiletYou can let women use a male toilet!!
