We've tried these deli sandwiches a few times. I can't say they are the best I've had - my biggest complaint is the thin Italian bread. The fillings fall off and get messy. I'd like a thick, crusty Italian bread that holds everything in place. Plus, the most recent visit was disappointing since they were out of kosher deli pickles. Can't have a good deli sandwich without a good dill pickle!

Went here to pick up sub's for dinner. Service was kind of slow, but they were busy. They offered perks because of the long wait. Had a 45 minute drive home but, I put sub's on the defroster and turned it on high. The employee at Firehouse wrapped up the sub's in foil, when I got home they were still hot. Will definitely go back again.

Great sandwiches custom made to order with toppings desired by customer. Staff is usually very helpful courteous polite and helpful! Sandwiches are available hot or cold and with fresh ingredients.Cheesesteak is delicious as are the other offerings can be busy at times but usually worth the slight wait! Thanks to cook Chris great job!

Large order placed, subs were fine, cost average, only one employee on hand to take care of business - overwhelmed - therefore took longer to get our order completed. I, unfortunately, was the only person who got sick the next day and I think it was due to the mayonnaise.

Nice location right on Highway 11 in Sturtevant. Parking can be tight at times. Good subs, burgers. Burgers up to 1 pound if you like! Fries are good. Soups are not bad either. They sell pre-made sandwiches, and salads. Most meats including steaks. Only negative is it's not a very clean place. Will go again.

If you are shopping for plants, flowers, trees, clothes, birdseed, decorative items and you are hungry, don't hesitate to stop at the Java Cafe. It's even worthy of a stop without shopping (but you won't be able to resist). The menu is somewhat limited but the selections are always healthy and fresh. Whether it's quiche, sandwiches, wraps or a marvelous smoothie, the Java Cafe focuses on physical well being as well as good food.
