Utterly drenched by incessant rain, having walked from Penzance to St Michael's Mount, I was telling my companions in no uncertain terms that I needed a dry refuge and a very hot coffee to go with it. The Copper Spoon provided both & then some. A lovely welcome and a tasty herby scone also helped restore my good humour. Rain or shine, this terrific spot deserves your custom. And they'll welcome your dog too!

We decided to have breakfast here before walking across the causeway. It was a cute spot, that was convenient. We both had the cooked breakfast which was pleasant, but nothing too exciting. Coffee wasnt strong, but it was fine. Staff were friendly and the cafe offered a cosy respite on a cold day.

Restaurant, wine shop and deli. Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, plus great food and the best wine selection for miles around. Oh, and great coffee too.
We visited this restaurant on Wednesday evening after checking open times on web, however they were closed that evening! We visited again on Friday evening and was greeted with very friendly staff who immediately accommodated us, although excellent service we were disappointed with choices in the menu as apart from seafood and a very spicy option all the pizza weâre vegetarian, we are meat eaters, we had to pay extra to have prosciutto added to a very boring margarita pizza. We purchased a bottle of wine from the store on our way out to enjoy at home which was excellent value. We also returned on Saturday morning for a coffee which was lovely. We would definitely return to purchase wine or have a coffe but would definitely not eat here again.Hello, thanks for your review...I do understand that but we are trying to persuade as many customers as we can to eat less meat. Meat is huge contributor to climate change so as a society we all urgently need to eat less if we are to save our species from likely extinction. There is a meat option available - as you realised. We still think the pizza is good value even when you add the optional meat. We just to make it as easy as possible for customers to choose healthy, low carbon options. Thanks for coming to Scarlet and Iâm pleased you liked the rest of the experience.Kind regardsJon

Staying in Mousehole, on night 2 I sought a place to eat, and this looked attractive.I had to eat a bit earlier than I intended, as they take last orders at 6pm. However, the menu in the window looked good, sea food biased, and so I went in.It was very good. The menu had interesting dishes and I chose the sea food soup. very tasty and the fresh bread with it was excellent. The service was friendly. portions generous, and the cafe was clean and tidy and attractively set.Overall a very good eating experience. Well done.
