We LOVE the Smoke Haus on the hill. Always get a sandwich at lunch time and then some stuff for home. Onion Liverwurst, Weisswurst and Leberkase to die for. Prices are a little higher because everything is fresh made and fantastic. The chocolate and pickles (not together) from Germany are the real-deal. I have relatives over there we go to visit and I recognize the labels and wonderful tastes! On the hill is closest for me but the second store on Rt 82 has wonderful stuff also. Service is great!!

I was visiting relatives last week and they decided to take me to Tomi's, what a pleasant surprise, they make fresh bagels every day and they are very good. We had breakfast; eggs, breakfast potatoes, several strips of bacon with a bagel and a cup of coffee. Very reasonable prices. All this was under $8. Loved the bagels!!â¤

Mr. G's has been around for a long time. We stop either here or East Fishkill Provisions for sandwiches. Everything Mr. G makes is fresh and homemade. This week I ordered a hot sausage, egg and cheese with lettuce tomato and onion. They use real sausage- no patties. The bread is fresh and chewy. Good to know- they use natural gas and can cook during a blackout. There was a short blackout while we were there. The only came out and asked for me. "Don't worry", he said, " I have natural gas and can still cook." Love it!

I took my kids here for lunch. We were ALL sick with the runs and stomach cramps. No one had gloves or hairnets. So sad you can't even trust a chain brand but the manager or owner must not care for hygiene. Honestly stay away!! The place is contaminated.

We used to go out of our way to pick up subs from this Subway because they tended to be rather generous in the construction of their sandwiches. But the last time we were there the server was putting in far less meat than even their written instructions proscribed. She was probably new, but only when we complained did another employee step in to re-instruct her. Had we not been paying attention we would have left with singularly skimpy sandwiches. When the response we got was defensive rather than apologetic, we walked out. We will not return to this Subway.
