Everything here is very good. The oysters are very fresh, and professionally shucked to retain the "liquor". The Chicago dog is the best I've had, anywhere, including in Chicago. This place is a keeper and has raised the bar for casual food in Duluth. Very friendly staff, as well.

After arriving at Duluth, MN we found Uncle Louie's closed for lunch around 2:30pm. So we chose this place instead and it turned out to be a great choice. The place has plenty of parking and good food with lots of seating. We had Country Fried Steak and Grilled Tilapia - both excellently prepared. Between three of us we shared the two meals and it was just right for a light lunch and also cost us less.

coming back into town i stopped in to get a take out order. got back to our hotel room 5 miles away and we took the food out we were missing my sandwich, the crest for my moms pot pie was a hockey puck and she was given the wrong dressing for her salad. she has a piece of banana cream pie and she said it wasn't very good. the apple pie i had was the only good thing we got.

I was not familiar with this chain but it is pretty good. Loved the unique sandwiches they offered as a comparison to usual deli stuff. Funny décor on walls, etc.
