Before mentioning the food, it's worth pointing out that for visitors to the old part of Corte, the restaurant has something very rare - PARKING! Much better to stop here, eat and then walk a bit, than face the stress of winding through the narrow streets of the town.Nice location, near the river, and views from the terrace of the mountains and the hillside houses.Excellent choice of traditional Corsican food, service is a bit slow when it gets busy, but worth the wait. Even the salads are something special. Good value too.

We had a very good dinner with friends. For 7-8⬠a pizza they couldn't be good, but they were. Also the dishes from the Corse Menu were complete and very well presented. The waitress was very warm and friendly. We definetely recomend it.

They have many meat dishes on the menu, but we still went here for Pizza. We were not disappointed. Simple and good Pizza, not 48 choices like in other places, but just a few. And very good value for money. Prices are really reasonable. Make sure you go down the stairs to the basement, the guest area there is very nice. Fine. Perhaps the above is too strong. But it illustrates how special this restaurant is. We had two wine tastings for two. For a price we would not have been able to pay elsewhere. The food itself was fantastic. What makes this resturant so special is the matron who will not let you leave without tasting the finest Corsican dishes. Come for a glass of wine, end up having an impromptu wine tasting, (red,white,rose, or muscat), stay for dinner, and enjoy the best Corsica has to offer as you watch the world go by in this fantastic village.

Food is delicious (everything is fresh) and service is fantastic, such a great place. We ate there 2 nights in a row and enjoyed it every time. We really recommend this place. The young people who took over this place recently are really doing an amazing job. Unfortunately, we are leaving tomorrow but we hope to come back soon.
