My son and I visit every Sunday on our way to soccer practice. Very attentive staff (but we are the only ones there) and my son is a picky eater. The only place he'll get a meatball sub. "This is really good Daddy." I get the Thanksgiving sandwich w/gravy. My favorite time of the week.

Much like The Backstage, in Manhattan, and my old friend, Bernie Reinâs, in Vernon, CT, Maxieâs Deli is a throwback to an era of round-nosed cars with hood ornaments and fins, of soda fountains and Ricky Ricardo, whenna poifict cap on a slow mawning wuzza a meetinâ widda boys from thah naybuhhood, anâ a good, lean pastrami on rye, widda good pickle and âa shmeahâ oâ spicy mustidd! Yeah, dem wuz da days...Seriously though, Maxieâs is a clean and bright, but completely unpretentious breakfast and lunch spot thatâs open by seven and closed by four, where the staff knows its customers by name (and vice versa), well enough to chat about one anotherâs families, and where the foods and overheard conversations often vie for delectability. Go there. Youâll like it!

Every time I go to Subways I have always gotten an Italian Sub because they are absolutely great.. Especially with jalapeños! I have heard that they have had health inspection issues though which is why I gave it a 4... Not my favorite subway but I got to this one maybe once a year.

Pizza is consistently good and tasty. We love the Pollo Pizza, which is a white pie with chicken and broccoli. The standards, such as Pepperoni and Mushroom are also good. I also love the eggplant, which is lightly breaded then put on top of the pizza. Although I wouldn't consider this gourmet , like some of the neighbor-hood competitors, its excellent, has a great fresh crust and reasonably priced. Greek salads are good too. Service is fresh and your pie can be ready for pick-up in 15 to 20 minutes. Easy parking right in the plaza

We were heading to Cape Cod. It was a little after 10am and we hadn't eaten. This seemed like as good a place as any. I had a Pastrami and Swiss. My girlfriend had a Bourbon Street. Neither of us were particularly impressed. We each stated the same thing....it's "ok". I wouldn't suggest eating here.
