Located in the Old London Coffee House, which dates back to the 1700s, Redâs Sandwich Shop has been visited by many Celebrities, Congressman, Senators and even First Lady Barbara Bush. A relaxed, friendlly atmosphere in a historic building is the perfect
This coffee shop/diner was the best! It had great food, great prices and great service from great servers. The food was home made and delicious. Large portions and this place is very popular with the locals. We ate breakfast there twice in the three days that we were in town. Highly recommend.

Food is served cafeteria style. A few dishes (such as my wife's kabobs) are cooked to order; in this case, order some soup. When you've finished it your main dish will be ready. I had one of the specials--stuffed cabbage. It's a hard-to-find dish and, strangely, not always cooked well. This was better than most although I would have liked the cabbage to be cooked a bit longer and have more raisins in the sauce. My wife's kabobs were excellent. Portions are large and be prepared to take some home.
Where to eat American food in Beverly: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This grocery store/restaurant should be rated higher. Their subs are really good and substantial. The prices are fair. If you just want to bring home your own luncheon meats or salads, they have that there as well along with great local breads. The sales people are welcoming and the range of Italian relishes and pickles is very wide. You will love them.

We tried white pizza and traditional cheese pizza this time. The white was dry, short on cheese, with a burned bottom crust. The last time that we tried it, it was delicious. The traditional cheese was good--certainly compared to the white pizza. This is very thin pizza--more like a quesadilla than a traditional pizza. We'd say it wasn't worth indulging in pizza at Prides Pizza. Side garden salad was predominately lettuce with few tomatoes or other vegetables.

We had lunch here on our every-other-year pilgrimage to New England. I reviewed the store before but hadn't had any prepared sandwiches. My companion had kielbasa, I had liverwurst on rye. The roll was excellent, the kielbasa was huge and super delicious (I had him cut me a piece). The liverwurst was ground fine, creamy, and very, very good. The rye bread was perfect. Both sandwiches were made while we waited. There are 2 small tables inside the store or you can take your sandwiches outside. This is a very good option for lunch.
