I was dealing with my picky father, after a long road trip, he didn't want anything. It was getting late and nearby places (near our hotel) were approaching closing time. Finally, I suggested sandwiches and he was good. We rushed over to Waterfront Deli as they were cleaning up prior to closing (30 min prior to close). They were welcoming and told us to relax and enjoy our meal. Sandwiches were good. Side options were plentiful. Staff was helpful in ordering, brought our food out to us and were very friendly.

I believe this place has the best deli sandwiches in the Quad Cities area. I've been here many time and have yet to go away disappointed. It's a small place so I really don't want to encourage you to go, but in all fairness, I'd love to share this venue with you because it's so delicious.

We opted to pick up the sandwich to go. I always get the Italian Herbs and Cheese bread, provolone cheese and toasted. Then, you can add extra ingredients. On this particular trip, I requested lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion and green pepper with oregano and parmesan. The sandwich was good, but light on the marinara sauce. As the "Sub Sandwich of the Day," the advertised price is $6 for a footlong. My husband and I both ordered it and the bill was under $12.
