This gem is located right in the center of town and near main roads. I have no hesitation saying the meal and service were exceptional. We highly recommend. Thus is a nice family-run business and they maintain a cheerful bright atmosphere. We all had great interesting tasty omelettes. And ingredients are fresh and healthy.A few notes: plan ahead to go. This place is busy. Every time we go, there is a waiting line. Parking on premise is limited but there is nearby street parking. It just requires consideration in advance.
Their Chicken salad was really delicious. It had cranberries and walnuts with white chicken meat and just the right amount of mayo. Very hefty portion provided.
I live .5 miles from this establishment and never entered until last Friday. The person who took my order over the phone was very helpful. I ordered a meatball and Italian calzone. I was told the large fed 4 people. Well they wld have to be very hungry people!! They were the size of a large pizza. Both were delicious. I will definitely go back for more!

We did take-out here in this Ballardvale establishment, during a recent visit to my sister's home. We ordered two personal sized cheese pizzas, which were ready for pick up when they said: cost = about $20.00. These were traditional, thicker crust pies: one with spinach and anchovies; the other with hamburger and mushroom. They were hot and tasted fine, but were a bit greasy. I would consider going back to try a different item from their varied menu.

Over a year later, we ordered out from Boston Chowda again (actually 3 times in the 2 weeks we stayed). The clam chowda, corn chowda, and fish chowda were all excellent. As usual, we ordered some lobster rolls, too. Yes, the lobster rolls are expensive, but they are high-quality. The service is fast, polite, and effective. There is nice variety to the menu; but for the last couple of years we basically ordered only the chowdas and the lobster rolls, so we don't know much about the other foods offered. We suspect they are tasty, too.
