We were pleased with our evening here...very local feel and although the name of it insinuates that it's an Italian restaurant...it's not as far as we are concerned. The menu gives you only two different three course meal options...fish or red meat...each comes with it's own appetizer, entrée and dessert. We both had the fish...although basic, the meal was good and the flavors reminded us of a meal that a Croatian family cooked for us at their home in Dubrovnik.Don't go here thinking that this is a cheap meal since it's out of the touristic area of the city or that you will have a large menu selection...DO go if you want a more local experience in dining. Cash only and we recommend making a reservation if you are going for dinner...it's a small place.

Restaurant Oasi is among 100 best restaurants in Croatia (in Pula there are only 2). Our modern equiped restaurant offers an absolutely intimate vacation to all those who want to escape the hasty and noisy lifestyle. It is situated in in Pjescana uvala -
Me and my girlfriend visited on the last evening of our stay in Pula. We had the tomatoe soup and green ravioli To start which was nice. Then it all started to go down hill, the table behind us complained that the fish was still raw so they sent it back. I ordered the lamb which was nice, my girlfriend ordered the beef in green sauce, it was supposed to be medium but come out raw in the middle. We were looking for the waiter but he disappeared for 10 minutes, when he eventually came back he took the plate and brought the steak back cooked medium. Unfortunately the potatoes after 15 minutes had gone cold, it would have been common sense to make new ones. In the end the steak was left as the meal was ruined. We asked for the tiramisu and the cheesecake for dessert but they had run out. The only desserts they had were ice cream and pistachio. Overall a very disappointing meal for us and the other couple that left not happy!Unfair competition!

Make sure you have a reservation to avoid disappointment. We had a lovely bottle of local white wine, followed by a selection of delicious brushetta. Unfortunately after three plates if brushetta we were too full to have anything else. Great service and a brilliant people watching spot.

I am a vegetarian and was delighted to see a vegetarian corner and ordered the ravioli. There were chunks of fish in it. I mentioned this to the waiter who simply shrugged and said in Croatia vegetarians eat fish and walked away. Be careful if you are a veggie and make sure you check first.

We stopped in last night on the off chance and so glad we did, this was our first evening in Pula so weâll probably return as we were spoiled for choice. The restaurant is lovely inside and the waitress was very helpful. We had the cheese and meat platter to begin, followed by the octopus and the squid with polenta and a tiramisu to share- all were delicious. Would recommend

We initially went to Valli after seeing positive reviews on Google (sorry TA!) as it had the best rating in the area, and we were not disappointed!!Brilliant evening with beautiful food. A great spot for people watching just behind the temple of Augustus, Valli had fabulous service and wonderful atmosphere. Two mains, a bottle of wine and two desserts came to £80/672kn which feels like great value for money given the quality of the food and service.

This really an experience if you are a seafood lover. The chef shows us that with imagination and creativity, you can turn a so called lesser fish (like mackerel or sardine etc.) into a gourmet food on another level. As many has written here before, it's just a fantastic experience. Plus the dude had scampi the size of a lobster, which by itself is unbelievable.By any means try it. And bring cash, no credit cards accepted

We had a great meal here. Food was excellent as was the service. It's only small inside so when it's wet and no outdoor tables, it will be busy. Only warning - portions are huge!Thank you

The restaurant is absolutely amazing! It is situated on the seaside which gives a romantic atmosphere with candles and some really good music. The staff is really easygoing and efficient. We didn't know what to order so they suggested a grilled fish for me and for my boyfriend some squids. Everything was sooo delicious and fresh. The dessert and the wine were great too, and the prices are really affordable! The fresh juice and coffee are really nice (they give free cookies ). If we come to Istria again, definitely gonna be back here! Sending love to our best waiter- Stefano <3Thank you for the nice review anf for checking us out and taking the time to share. Hope to see you again if you are back to Istria some time! Best regards!
