Peaceful family restaurant located by the sea with the view over the Blace bay reaching to the Pelješac peninsula. If you are looking for a quiet restaurant with olive trees shadow over the tables, Croatian traditional cuisine or just a grill and good vin

Cult restaurant is situated in Vid, 4km dist.to Metkovic onthe arm of the river Neretwa, in front of Forum Romanum of Roman capitol for eastern country
Great off season self organized "excursion" with lunch, if you live nearby, or even in Dubrovnik.Arriving at the restaurant, they take you on a slow river raft, where you have your starters, which you order at arrival. You may order some dried ham & chese, and some fried frogs, which is one of the region especialities. We dont speak French cooking, but local cuisine. Your left over white wine, and beer, you bring with you to table, when you return from the raft, (30-45 minutes later). If you consume, the raft is included in the price. You may of course give the boat driver some tip. The Neretva delta river raft tour, is not a paradise tour, and you may pass some floating bottles, but the experience, having your starter this way, is great, both for a group of friends, family, or the two of you romantic. After the tour, you have your main course either at the river side, or indoor.Round off with a shrimp "buzarra", which is one of the house specialities. Ingredients from the waters, and gardens around. Food tastes more, and is more spicy, than in general in Dalmatia.Fine price & value.Good, personal service.Restrooms are not extremely, but fairly clean.Easy to park at, or around the corner.Call in advance, to be sure they are open..

Really unique place, surrounded by kiwi trees is a cave which is actually a restaurant. Looks and feels a bit like medieval inn. I was there for coffee only, bartender is super nice and pleasant guy.
Currently travelling from Australia with my family through Croatia and as we are exploring the beautiful Neretva Valley we stopped at this restaurant by chance... we tried grilled fish and a frog brudet... both of these were amazing and were complimented by beautiful wine. The customer service was also fantastic so next time we visit Croatia we will be sure to visit again. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Quick stop for lunch while on the road. Asked for a tuna salad w/ beans, olives, vegetables, and mozzarella cheese and what came from the kitchen was a plate of lettuce w/ tiny bits of tomato & cucumber, 4 olives, not-mozarella cheese, and 3 pieces of shreded tuna (equivalent of half a can). Costed around 55kn!! Olive oil/vinegar cruet were so dirty didnt even try to use them. Bf had a prosciutto sandwich which was ok.

Stopped in on our way to Mostar. Lovely little konoba on roadside with very friendly and welcoming host. Ordered prsut and anchovies with bread. Sounds simple but it was delicious and simple is often best. Bread was freshly made and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and chatting to the host.

We departed from Dubrovnik in order to visit Naronna. After our visit to Naronna, we topped here for lunch before continuing the drive to Split. The establishment is clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. We dined on a set menu which was really a cut above the rest. The appetizer was Croatian proscuitto and cheese; followed by a green salad. The main course was grilled pork chops and breast of chicken accompanied by mash potatoes. Dessert was a type of layer cake, a bit too sweet for my taste. Wine and beer as well as coffee were available.

Decorated rusticaly with antiques and metal art sculptures our restaurant will offer you a warm atmosphere combined with excelent local specialties and international cuisine.
I was several times in this restaurant and every time the food was not anything special and prices were too high because the portions were small. The last time I was on the 'Evening of the Neretva food' (not our first choice). Surprisingly, portions were good enough that time and the food was very tasty. And there was live music - local band.Unfortunately, we didn't get a properly issued fiscal bill which really ruined the general impression. The toilet is ok, there are parking place and wi-fi is available. The stuff is ok.Dear Nenad,Thank you for your review, we appreciate it. We are sorry to hear that you did not like our food, we do make an effort to provide good service and quality meals, hopefully next time it will be more to your taste. In terms of portion sizes, they are the same as anywhere else in our region and we keep to the set standard. When it comes to the fiscalization, if we have experienced problems with the system it was probably not our fault, sometimes this happens with the system and we have reported the flaw. But we did and always do our best to correct anything to the customers. We are sorry to hear that this had ruined the overall impression, as it was not under our command. We hope that next time you will not be affected by anything of that type. Kind regards,

The Neretva Valley is an area of outstanding beauty that speaks best for itself. Its wealth and spaciousness are an ornament of our country and a gift from God and nature. In the heart of this oasis, off the road between MetkoviÄ and Opuzen, there is a ho
We stopped for late evening meal after a long day on the road. We were made welcome and served some really delicious cream tomato soup and salad. The next morning we returned for breakfast and and ordered omelettes (ham and cheese) which were very nice and we appreciated the flavour of the local cheese. That was all "washed down" with excellent coffee. Good food - reasonable price -gracious host.
