Lovely meal, we had some great baby fish, fried squid and a nice chicken dish done on the grill. The onely downside was the salad was very bitter.
Small family restaurant with local food and cheap prices...we have our own products like prosciutto, cheese, wine, liquers, and our garden vegitables...
Our tour guide recommended this place ( along with 2 others) for our lunch stopover en route to Krka National Park, instead of eating at those chain eateries at the park, and we were so glad we took up his suggestion. It was like eating at someone's home terrace, with swallows hovering in their nests around us.This restaurant specializes in spit- cooked food, which requires sufficient advance notice if you wish to have something beyond the order of the day. It was pork when we called to book, which suited us fine. We ordered 1 kg of the meat which was just the right amount for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. It came with roast potatoes basted in pig fat, which was absolutely yummy, accompanied by grilled vegetables. A great salad of tomatoes, cucumber and onions preceded. ( They do takeaways as well, by the way).. Because we did some wine tasting with them as well, of their own home produced red and white wine, they served us bread topped with what has to be one of the best prosciuttos ever, similarly produced by the family. This simply has to be one of our best meals ever. It was a memorable stop, and is highly recommended if you are on the way to Krka or back, just approximately 5 minutes away. To top it off, the bill was the cheapest of all our meals in our hitherto 5 days in Croatia. If we should come round to visiting Krka again, we will be sure to stop over at this restaurant, and next time we'll make sure we call way ahead of time!

Mediterranean and Croatian traditional homemade food prepared and served by family SKALA TEAM. We offer gluten-free, vegetarian, fish or meat dishes.
We have chosen this restaurant for it's reviews and the fact that it was reasonable priced when compared to other restaurants nearby. It is animal friendly so big plus from me. Little walk further from center takes you to this restaurant with great view and very friendly staff. We ordered meat, gnocchi and ravioli..while meat was great (maybe a bit too salty for me) ravioli were nice but too hard to eat entire portion and not much taste of truffles which is main reason I ordered them. A solid 4 for this restaurant and one of the reasons is because dessert was too expensive, almost 7⬠for 2 pancakes..they were nice and tasty with ice cream and chocolate dressing but stil it is only pancakes..We payed 75⬠for 4 main dishes, 2 desserts and 3 glasses of wine, not too cheap but ok.I would definately recommend this resraurant and would return again.
Few of us ordered peka - regional dish prepared under iron lid, covered in burning coal. They needed approximately two hours to bake it. I parked in a shade right in front of the yard where was our table waiting for us. The owner Antonio is a very good and warm person, kind and a master of regional cuisine (I won't say "Dalmatian", because such a meal could be found in neighbouring countries either). It was goood. It was gooooooooooood!

I really enjoyed the experience of a lunch here. Educated waiters, modern plating, good food, cosy place.Beef soup and tuna steak were really tasty.
This could have been excellent. Lovely setting. Good, helpful staff. Seemed overrun by a large party. Glasses were warm. Beer was warm. Plates for cold starter were hot. Glasses for wine were warm. Starter food was very good. 3 out of 4 main courses were very good. One was to salty to eat. Whilst the waiter acknowledged this and offered a complementary drink to compensate I was still charged for the dish. As this was the last night of our holiday I didn't want to spoil the evening by complaining. This will be a good restaurant when they sort out the small simple errors.

Tavern Vinko is family style restaurant situated at the village Konjevrate in the Sibenik countryside. Only 4 km away from National park Krka, entrance Lozovac and 15 km from town of Sibenik in the direction of the town Drnis. What gives us the greatest p
This place is a great stop if youâre travelling to the coast. The food is wonderful, pretty much everything is great. In particular, I would recommend the prosciutto, rooster under the peka and their risotto. The service is OK, but itâs quite annoying that they almost never have tables available if you donât reserve a few days in advance.
Ghetto is Family business where our first wish is try Guest to be satisfied.
My friend and me where passing by Drnis in our road trip and found this little pizza place there. Staff was very kind, pizza was fabulous and price was really cheap! 2 pizzas, 2 cokes and 1 coffee = 123kn (approx. 16â¬)Highly recommended!

Croatia â as authentic as it can bePakovo selo is a village on a platform overlooking Krka National park, between Dalmatian town Å ibenik and DrniÅ¡. Restaurant âKuÄa kamenaâ is indeed a small village with some 4 or five authentically restored houses. In two houses is dining room, in one is âkantinaâ â the wine cellar â and there one with old âblack kitchenâ, where owner Frane cooks food under âpekaâ or on âražanjâ.You can see Frane in action on YouTube:http://tinyurl.com/khap8wxSince it takes about 3 hours to prepare a meal, you have to call and make a reservation. The menu is simple. You can have cheese and prosciutto from the region for appetizer, rind soup and meat and vegetables from âpekaâ or âražanjâ. Frane takes care of food, he claims that everything is locally and âhomemadeâ.I was a rainy day so we ate inside, but they have tables in courtyard. We beside appetizer and soup we ate âpivacâ (rooster), veal and lamb with potato from âpekaâ and it was the best peka I ate so far.I think that the place looks very good and the food is just perfect. I suppose they serve lamb to vegetarians :-). If you are carnivore and near it is definitely worth of d-tour.
