Parrilladas y comida tÃpica costarricense. Hermosa vista al mar . Especial para eventos privados y cenas románticas.
Searching for an amazing culinary experience in the Rain Forest? Rancho Ceilo Alto is not to be missed. This hidden gem offers a Unique and Delicious Farm to Table experience. Nestled into the jungle, overlooking the Pacific Ocean this beautiful open-air Rancho has true Costa Rican charm. Owner and chef JazmÃn GodÃnez, presents a food experience like no other. The 4-course presentation includes integration of ingredients from her on-site garden and local organic farmers. Each dish is prepared with love over and open fire and includes layers of flavors as well as edible and medicinal plants. I was blown away by the level of technique used for each preparation and presentation. Not only is the food amazing, but Jazmin welcomes you like family. From the time that you arrive until the time you leave Jazmin is explaining each presentation including the benefits of the medicinal plants included. Definitely an experience not to be missed. Note; reservations required. In addition to dining, Jazmin also offers cooking classes using local ingredients and techniques. Also included is use and explanation of edible and medicinal plants.Thank you

We are a bit of a Hideaway in front of Playa Ballena. A place for a comfortable environment to visit the Ballena Coast; a coast that the owners, Ana Herrera who was born in this area, and Cliff Hulbert who has known this coast for the past 20 years or so,
I brought some house guests for lunch at Leonor's We arrived a bit early but Cliff, the owner took our orders and suggested we take a walk along the beach just beyond the garden and pool restaurant. We walked past a lagoon to the beach and before long Cliff had come to tell us our lunch was ready. We enjoyed a laugh or two with Cliff on the way back and found a great looking table waiting for us. We enjoyed whole fish and glasses of Imperial on ice.served by a charming staff. A beautiful experience.. I cannot wait to return.Thank you for taking time to tell others of your experience and we look forward to your return to the beach.

The best ambience in Uvita, in the Southern Pacific Costa Rica. It's a ranch style restaurant, no doors, spacious, ideal for groups, families and tourist alike. International couisine and typical Costa Rica food.
We randomly picked Marino Ballena Restaurant because we were hungry and tired after several hours on the beach and in the ocean and it was near. We had no expectations. We were greeted by the very lovely and gracious Jessica who instantly made us feel as though she had been eagerly waiting for us to arrive. Not only were there 7 of us and a very vocal baby but we arrived when they were just about finished serving lunch. No matter. Jessica happily took all our orders, quirks and all, and remembered where each exception to the menu was to be delivered. The food was delicious and Jessica never lost her charm.

Our place is small but quiet with nature around whit tables for groups or just cople person.. Its a rustic place but offering delicious food...
Took a taxi here from the hotel. Ask before we let the taxi go what time they closed in response we were told 10 okay great be paid the taxi and came in as it was only 9:15. We were then told that we could order food but had to take it to go because the kitchen closes at 10. We both looked at our watches and asked , we cant eat here its only 915. Granted they were a little busy but not that much as there were four empty tables that we could see two standing at the doorway. Very rude person that didn't care about the business. Perhaps a disgruntled employee hopefully not the manager or owner. I hope whoever reads this can do a little bit of Staff training. I can understand showing up 5 minutes till closing but not 45 minutes and turning customers away. Thanks for writing and say your opinion..we are going to work about it to give a better service..Thanks..

This restaurant offers excellent food and great service. The owner/chef, who also serves, is Tito, a former mechanic who loves food and has been able to develop a great menu. The menu is written on a wall, and some of it changes every day. Dishes are tasty and made with fresh ingredients.

The Dome Drive Thru, Uvitas best Breakfast and lunch specializing in Burritos and Burgers and a selection of Uvitas best coffee drinks.
It's easy to not try the food at the Dome restaurant by judging it just on its exterior. However, the inside is totally different and pleasant. The food is great and waitresses very attentive and nice personalities. They also have seating on the rooftop. I did not get a chance to eat there as it was rather hot in Uvita when I vacationed there.

Ballena Bistro is located in a beautiful wooden building. Our fusion dishes are casual and creative and made with the freshest ingredients. Everything is homemade including our burger buns. We are dedicated to make your visit special.
Ballena Bistro is my favorite restaurant to visit when I am in Costa Rica. The owner, Liz is extremely hospitable and the food is amazing. When we are staying in Manuel Antonio, having lunch here is our favorite outing. The drive from Quepos is beautiful and the atmosphere at this restaurant is calm and pristine. I highly recommend the quinoa, kale dish but all of the food is delicious.Es una alegrÃa que siempre nos visiten, muchas gracias por el review, nos veremos pronto, pura vida.

I had read reviews that the restaurant offered vegan options but I messaged to confirm. Cindy took the time to send me via message every option available to me. She made us feel so welcome upon our arrival. The food was delicious, atmosphere perfect! From the avocado hummus to the homemade chickpea patties, everything was tasty and filling. The prices were very reasonable and Cindy worked her butt off, handling all of the restaurant diners' needs both pleasantly and expeditiously!!!Awww thanks so very very much !!! I'm glad you both felt welcome and comfortable at Los Laureles that is what we are looking for along with fresh food that gets prepared with love for you to enjoy, very thankful for recommending our place looking forward to se you soon, thanks
