This restaurant is right on the border with the Netherlands. We had a sunny table on the patio and a wonderful lunch, scampi for the gentlemen and pig cheeks for the ladies. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was wonderful.A great end to a European vacation before heading back home.

This restaurant is part of the bigger 'provincial parc Puynbroeck'The food is moderate, but you can have a good time here, like brunch and so on...It is also possible to organise an event here in a separate room.

Op aanraden van één van onze kennissen, hebben we deze middag gereserveerd voor ons drie bij dit net geopend restaurant.Al is iedereen heel jong, toch werden we hartelijk en professioneel ontvangen.Het restaurant is ruim, modern ingericht, met zicht op de keuken, waar rustig doorgewerkt wordt.Op zondagmiddag is er enkel een menu mogelijk, doch dat was geen probleem.Aperitief was een champagne (millésime 2011), en een huisaperitief op basis van bourbon en gember. Amuses heel erg verzorgd (en lekker)Voorgerecht was een verse tartaar (al of niet met foie gras) en variaties op rode bietDaarna kwam een heerlijke, perfect gebakken langoustine , gevolgd door een bereiding met rode poon, met aardappel, selder, saffraanmayonaise in een heerlijke bouillon.Hoofdgerecht een super fazant, heerlijke jus, schorseneer en puntjes crème van zwarte truffel.Dessert : braambes of kaas.Bij dit alles was er een lekker wijn-(of bob-) arrangement mogelijk.We feliciteerden de jonge lady-chef, dit restaurant is nog maar net open, maar zat op een zondagmiddag toch goed vol, en de bediening bleef vlot en vriendelijk.Dit is een aanrader. Wij komen hier terug, en maken reklame bij onze vrienden.

Tooktr the lunch menu - fine 'ameuse gueue' filling but coockie far too hard so teethbreaker- very nice starter with all kids of tastes- steak special with good add-onsaccompanied with a red glass of wine made it a fine lunch fully ready to go back

We did the wine-dine-sleep formula with friends. Price for the whole programme, including a 5 course dinner with carefully selected superb wines, followed by spending the night in a large and comfortable hotelroom and a good breakfast for 129 euro per person, which is a bargain, seen the quality of the food and the services. We do this once or twice a year since a couple of years now, and are never dissapointed.
