Vilassar de Mar (Catalan pronunciation: [biɫəˈsa ðə ˈmar]) is a municipality in the comarca of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Premià de Mar and Cabrera de Mar, to the north-east of Barcelona. The town is both a tourist centre and a dormitory town for Barcelona, and is also known for its horticulture. The main N-II road and a RENFE railway line run through the town, while a local road connects the municipality with the C-32 autopista at Vilassar de Dalt and Mataró and Barcelona. The famous canned food company DANI is based in Vilassar de Mar coming from a Vilassar family.

A thursday they offered for 11.50 menu. 3 starters three main courses and three desserts. Acid olives in advance. Either we choose as a starter for a tortilla with black sausage. Small portion, well spiced, unfortunately the bread slices are toasted too hard. Main course we choose the paella, good flavor, and chicken strips, light coated and with a honey-mustard sauce. Good flavor, while fries are not that crispy. Good fries a real a problem in Spain. Chocolate cake with whipped cream homemade so nothing wrong with that and macedonia of fresh fruit. An excellent coffee. Good food at a good price, but portions rather small

We ate here on our first night in Spain and it was amazing! The lamb and duck were hits with the kids (which is not usual since they are very picky eaters) and the moscato was the best glass of moscato I've ever had! We loved it so much that we ate here again on our last night in Spain. The wait staff speak perfect English and are very friendly. The atmosphere is great...almost as great as the chocolate dessert that my entire family devoured! Can't recommend enough... best meals we had in Spain by far!Dear Gia13,First of all, thank you so much for your positive comments!! We are so proud of them! Had very good patates bravas and excellent calamari followed by x2 burgers. The medium cooked burger was quite rare but nice meat. Would opt for 'well-done' in future. Very good service with a smile late on a Sunday evening.Nice decor but lighting perhaps overly bright.Will definitely return for the excellent and welcoming service.

Just fine, nothing spectacar or memorable.We had the Sesonal Degustation Menu, it is not bad but nothing special. Service is nice and place is confortable.
