Excellent as always, I had the prawn and avocado starter followed by the lamb with black garlic. My partner, the blond, had the same and enjoyed excellent service whilst sitting at a table in the garden. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and commented that there wasnât a single item on the menu that we wouldnât choose. We often eat here when we are in the area and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Additionally there is a terrific range of ales, I can recommend a pint of âthe old swanâ. Highly recommended five stars plus.

Very impressed by the service, menu choices and good old fashioned English public house atmosphere. Food was very good, well presented and very tasty. Staff were attentive and the Inn was in very good order. Plenty of car parking and outdoor seating. Inside it is nicely furnished with plenty of room to enjoy your own space but not feel isolated from the rest of the clientèle.

I have a great admiration for how Here has a focus on sustainability. Food is locally sourced and there's a board telling visitors where everything has come from.The food itself is also fantastic. I particularly recommend the lobster above all else. Worth noting that the atmosphere is very relaxed.

We went to the works for our sweet following a meal at another local restaurant.
