Went in after a visiting the cathedral for lunch as it's close by. Superb choice. Interesting and tasty food, good wine and all at a reasonable price. The waiter was excellent as were all the staff. Get your camera ready if you order a certain item on the menu and they bring over a cocktail shaker....

Women travelling...what is desired? 1) beautifully made food that we couldn't easily make ourselves, 2) beautifully presented in a way that can be shared 3) eaten sitting in a beautiful space, preferably outdoors, 4) served by friendly, respectful staff who do not hurry us, 5) at a beautiful price. This was it, our best meal in Spain and that is saying something. Have the crunchy ratatouille to start, the house wine, all the desserts, the almond digestiv.

Where to eat Spanish food in Toledo: The Best Restaurants and Bars

The restaurant has a sophisticated look but no real spark.I followed the waiting staff recommendations of octopus with potatoes for the starter and suckling piglet with preserved fig for the main. I also went for the torrija with vanilla cream and cinnamon ice cream. All sounded good on paper... but...The octopus came swimming in a potato cream and no spoon to eat it. The portion was too big - probably to justify the price tag.The piglet terrine was also huge and came with some garnish that didnât do any favours to the meat. To say the truth the strong taste of the pork put me off. The preserved fig helped mask it.The torrija was an attempt to create a pudding with a different consistency, but again, the dimensions were huge. My advice would be - reduce the size of the dishes and create something with quality and balance. The charge for the bread roll was distortionate, even when one assumes it is included in the high price of the food. I had a 30% off due to an online promotion, even so it wasnât worth the experience.

We booked a table and we couldn't sit until one hour after, the food & service was normal, but it's was very expensive, having into account where the restaurant was, not in Toledo city center, after waiting for so long they didn't even have a gesture with us. I won't go back and of course I don't recommend it.
