If you love golf, you’ll love Saint Simons Island, which is home to the 18-hole King and Prince Golf Course and 27-hole Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort. Nearby are 234 more holes of golf at popular spots like the 63-hole Jekyll Island Golf Club and 36-hole Sea Island Golf Club. Anglers have lots of opportunities to fish in the rivers, tidal creeks, sounds and the Atlantic Ocean. Stopped in to get good olive oil and balsamic vinegar (excellent selection, a bit pricey), and found a newly opened food counter with good wine list. Still working out the kinks and the menu on that, but attractive nonetheless. Check them out near the Wake Up coffee shop nearby.

Very good coffee and good sandwiches/salads/pastries near the Harris Teeter supermarket. Parking no problem. Barista service just fine. Not as popular/crowded as nearby Wake Up coffee, but coffee is better and place is more pleasant. Check their hours - they close at 4. Good place to stop before/after grocery shopping.Thanks for your positive review - we are working hard to be SSIâs favorite gathering spot! While walking around town we wanted to check out some other places to eat on future trips to Saint Simon. We happened to come by The BlackWater Grill and went inside. Nice and cool inside, friendly people and cold beer.We checked out their menu for the next time we are in town and put this place on out list for the future. Neat, clean, good menu and friendly people.... winner for sure!

We were at a convention vacation. This restaurant offered tasty food and was reasonably priced. There were small and large plate options, and everything we had was fantastic, with the exception of the crab dumplings, which were just not as good as everything else. I made reservations for our family of four adults and specified that we would be celebrating a birthday. We have had wonderful meals at Tramiciâs but this was a disaster. The time frame between getting our cocktails and salads was about 5 minutes and another 5 minutes our meals came out. There was literally no room on the table for all of this. We felt very rushed. We did order dessert, but no mention of birthday . Disappointing.
