Opened up just a couple of weeks ago by Malaga restaurant founder Iván Bravo (see Yubá etc.) the place is already always fully booked. No wonder: the tapas are exellent and done in a typical spanish way but with fusion and asian influences. Well done, everything is extremely tasty and presented very stylish.

We dined here yesterday evening and enjoyed a good meal sharing a variety of dishes. Some of the things we sampled included potato salad, grilled lagarto (cut of pork), tempura artichokes, and tempura bacalao. All our dishes were tasty and the service was fast, which was surprising considering all the tables were occupied. Would definitely stop in again.

Four of us met up here for lunch and drinks. La Ola has a good location on the plaza away from noisy traffic. It has a cosy inside dining room but plenty of seating outside. The menu is small but well thought out and planned to suit all taste buds. A big plus is that a lot of the dishes can be ordered as tapas, medium or full portions. We opted to share several dishes such as the bulgur wheat salad, clams, lamb, cod and cheese cake to finish. All the food was very tasty and well presented - 'hats off' to the chef. Service efficient and friendly. Prices reasonable. Well worth a visit, we'll be returning for sure!
