Sugar is a retro design restaurant in downtown Trelew. Starts serving food at 8p, drinks and light snacks/pizza before that. Eclectic menu, I had beef brochettes with bolide potatoes with a good huancia sauce, my wife had eggplant ravioli in a tomato sauce that were interesting. Ambiance and service were good, although English of wait staff was somewhat limited. Reasonable option in this city

Confortable and cozy, and special kind attention- Regional and argentinian food. Open from 8 to 24 hs. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is full served.
We had dinner here twice because we were very impressed by the quality of the food. The soup, empanada and prawn starters were excellent. Of the main courses the most notable was the trout which was beautifully cooked when most of the fish during our trip to Argentina tended towards being over cooked. We also had a lamb casserole which was very different from casseroles at home but made from lovely tender meat. The steak was also really good. The Moussaka was a different interpretation of the dish from usual, but still pleasant.

We ate one night; note the restaurant opens late by European standards. We were turned away as we were early, but went back later and were the only table for a while. The waitress was entirely competent, if rather workmanlike. The food was fine, and tasty.

We had dinner with our family. Very good food and good service as well. We bought a bottle of wine in a local store and management was kind enough to let us have it with our dinner. The manager came speak to us a couple of times and was very friendly. Great atmosphere, in front of beach. I strongly recommend.

Al ser el restaurante de la estación de servicio tenÃamos dudas pero nos sorprendió muchÃsimo y para bien! Comimos rico, abundante, bien presentado y a buen precio. El horario es reducido, pero vale la pena!!
