After having many enjoyable meals at the cafe, the last tow visits were ruined by terrible service. On both occasions, we waited for 15-20 minutes while the servers chatted among themselves. The last time we went, the server stood chatting with guests she obviously knew very well. After 20 minutes of being totally ignored while she caught up on the latest gossip, we got up and walked out. Nothing was said as we left. We won't be returning.Sorry, that you were ignored! We do encourage our servers to have guest interaction. But there is a point where it should be left for another time. I will make sure that our servers are aware of your complaint and I hope you will try us again in the near future.

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose this bistro. I'm glad we did. We had a beautiful view of West Lake. We ordered crab cakes, house salads. Both were very good. My husband ordered catch of the day, which was Swordfish with asparagus and a black bean corn salsa on top. I had the Scallops. Both were good. I would highly recommend the pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream. We will definitely be back. I have a birthday coming up

BOLD is a Southwest Michigan dining destination you donât want to miss. Youâll enjoy a warm, relaxing atmosphere; a great culinary experience; professional, friendly service and memorable, big-flavor cuisine.
Joined friends here for a Birthday Dinner celebration. Hadn't been in the area for years and forgot how much I enjoy Bold. Chose to go on Monday evening for the half off small plates (which are not really small!). Super interesting selections. Had a hard time making a selection. We each chose 2 and shared them all.The Mulligatawny Soup special was incredible. It was a duel of the spoons to see who could eat the most. The Caesar Salad there is always one of my favorites. Service was top notch. It is not inexpensive so the Monday night special is an ideal way to enjoy a delightful meal.
