We visited Jajigo at the end of July because the beach was not swimable. It was recommended to us by a local and we couldn't be happier with the recommendation. Our server both times was Marcio and he recommended the Moqueca com peixe e camarao, on our first visit, and it was out of this world good. So good we needed to come back one more time before leaving Brazil. The second time we came back we ordered the Moqueca de peixe and fried shrimp appetizer. Everything is fresh caught and prepared when you order. We can not recommend this place highly enough.

Seaside restaurant, in Marina 188, with beautiful views of the city and the bay of Paraty. International cuisine with inspiration in the local culinary caiçara celebrates the simplest preparations, without excesses, prepared with gastronomical techniques
This restaurant is located outside of the historical center of Paraty, inside the Marina 188. You'll find it easily, just passing the police station direction Ubatuba, it's on the left. Parking lots are in front of the Marina entrance.Inside the Marina, it's a beautiful place at the waterfront with a great view towards the old colonial city and the bay.The interior of the restaurant is modern, elegant style, bistro-like. This fits perfect with the opening hours, which are from 8-23 hours, five days a week. So, you could start your day with breakfast there, and not only the yacht owners are enjoying this. The food is cooked very deliciously, a mixture between international, mediterranean and brazilian dishes. Price level is high, but justified. The career steps of the boss Luciano include not only Sao Paulo and Rio but also international hotels. This you can taste and see - even the optical arrangement of the dishes is very nice. And the waiters attend you excellent. Every glimpse of your eye is perceived. To sum it up: Paraty can be happy that this high class restaurant has opened! A bit different than the others....Thank you very much for the evaluation. We are happy to have enjoyed it and for the attention to all the details by which we work to maintain them. Be always welcome!

My partner and I spent a lovely evening here. The service is some of the best I've had in Brazil (fast but relaxed and attentive) and the food (we shared the Moqueca, Brazilian fish stew) was excellent. We tried several caipirinhas with different types of Cachaça which were also all great, not so sweet as many you get served. The deserts (different types of baked fruits with different sauces and ice creams) were also excellent and a nice change from cake! Highly recomended.

Lugar Charmoso e aconchegante no Centro Histórico de Paraty. Perfeito para um jantar a dois, com amigos ou com a FamÃlia. Servimos pratos elaborados, massas, pizza feita no forno a lenha, vinhos e cervejas artesanais
Great place for pizza and pasta. The service was outstanding and the pizza was some of the best I've eaten in Brazil. The pasta was very good too. Very casual but perfect for couples or friends night out on the town of Paraty. They had good wine by the glass too which can be a rarity in Brazil. We liked it so much we visited twice. Highly recommended.

This was our first meal in Paraty and was quite impressive. The fish in lemon sauce with banana coating was very tasty although the cheesy accompaniment did not go so well. The service was very attentive but no wines are available by the glass which is a pity.

We received recommendations praising the food in this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The fish and seafood were fresh and amazingly tasty, including a starter with a seafood twist (instead of meat). Although the dessert was somewhat disappointing, I can definitely say that dinner at this place is a must for people who visit Paraty and are fans of seafood. Highly recommended!

Tastiest home made Hamburgers and Sandwich´s with live music every night. Really cozy atmosphere, nice burguers and delicious drinks until midnight. Well inside the Historic Centre the best option for an alternative Paraty experience.
Amazing hamburger with brazilian/latin american style. The caramelized onions with cachaça Gabriela (with a bit of cinnamon taste) or burger with pineapple were amazing. They also have good craft beer! They use sostainable products, have vegetarian options, wonderful decoration and live music. A great option!

Having dinner at Luciana's place...the well hidden and super cute restaurant Alquimia dos Sabores, was a life changing experience... Her Cuisine touch is no doubt one of the best Gastronomy Master that I have met in my entire life so far. She combines tropical fruits with all kind of meats, she mix salt with sugar with such perfection. She is a big fan of Brazilian Food and research old grand parents recipes to adapt in the Contemporary World Cuisine. I think the whole world and of course us brazilians should go there. It is a homely environment, absolutely decorated with such fine good taste. Luciana knows a lot about Brazil and she has amazing stories to tell all the time!!All the words that I can find to express what we had tasting the best of Brazilian Food there is amazingly useless...You do have to go there and try yourself. The region where Alquimia is located is a wonderful mountain place full of waterfalls and wilderness. When they open for lunch you will have the chance to walk through the forest and see the Pereque-Açu River. Go to Paraty and say hallo to Luciana. She is one of the most plesant and interesting person that I know. And it is great for a ROMANTIC DINNERDo not forget to call for reservation, her place is very well known in Rio and São Paulo States.
