Enjoyed the clams and mussels. Also the homemade pasta. Service was patient enough to explain the menu to us due to my lack of familiarity with Portuguese cuisine. Also were able to customise a dish for my vegetarian wife.

âBeija-me, burroâ which translated to English would be somewhat like âKiss me, foolâ is a brilliant name to start with! Set in an unexpected location in Oeiras of residential apartments and not abundant parking. The interiors are nicely done and one can easily see attention to details and branding. The service is fun, friendly and helpful. The food although based on Portuguese tapas or âpetiscosâ have a definitely different approach which makes them delicious! In taste and presentation. Recommended!

After numerous visits to the city, the broad area as well, over many years, I was never impressed by the culinary surprises Portugal had to offer (some noticeable exceptions in the Douro area, ok).Tonight, I am inclined to change that opinion. Inclined... because I still don't understand how people can "blindly" rate a restaurant with 5 stars. Probably never been to the great ones?Anyway, the rather refined and very skilfully made dishes I tried on my first evening here at "Claro!" may help me change my mind. Probably, as a first experience, 4 stars is a bit high, but that's for the benefit of the doubt, after having enjoyed lovely marinated mackerel with coriander and a close to perfection prepared cod.Special mention for the service. Best professional, kind, and most of all, knowledgeable waiter service I ever had in Portugal. Well done!Like I said, so far so good. Maybe "Claro!" will make me change my mind. And that... is definitely an achievement. More to follow...

Went for lunch in this lovely little restaurant and it was pure quality. I only wish TripAdvisor did six stars. Where do I start. Firstly the customer service. Nuno was my waiter. A real genuine guy who is brilliant at his job. Secondly the food. For starters I just had bread with a beautiful dip accompanied with a home made chilli sauce. A real taste of the Mediterranean. My main course was Bacalhau. I eat this every weekend and this is the best Bacalhau I have eaten. Combined with two beers was about 20 euro. Will be back and back alot.Hi Ivor, thanks for your beautiful words about both the staff and food. We feel really flattered and motivated to continue pleasing people like yourself. By far, the most excellent selection of coffee. Homemade pastry, the world's best pancakes and a wonderful brunch. A very quiet and confortable space right next to the beautiful Paço de Arcos park.Relaxed and everything made with care.
