Le Saffran is a delightful restaurant in the small village of Trets. Over the course of a week we actually ate here twice and both times were treated to well prepared and presented dishes. Our first visit was late on the night of the day we arrived from the U.S. and wanted something light and the menu had salads which fit the bill. We returned a few nights later and were once again treated to an excellent meal. The menu has a sufficient variety of entrees and the portions are generous. The waitresses are hardworking and helpful and dining outside was a treat. We highly recommend Le Safran if you in the area.

Ate at this great little restaurant a couple of times and if was in the area longer would have loved to have tried everything on the menu! One of the best burgers I've ever had. The fish tartar is a must. More like a ceviché than your traditional tartar but was really good! Could have had that everyday! Don't let the cool racing decor and theme fool you, the food is not as roadside eatery as the place may feel. The food is well prepared, thought out, and executed very well. Highly recommend to find this joint up by the Le Castellet airport. Highly impressed
