Our group of 6 came for brunch, they accept reservations (which we didn't know). While outdoor seating was available for our size of the group, it must have been reserved for someone else. We got seated inside in the booth with long bench style chair.Ordered a variety of items, everyone was happy with what they got. Their scrambles are excellent. The eggs Benedict was really good as well. Large thick bacons, every entrée got a raspberry scone.Good service, reasonably priced. We enjoyed our breakfast.I'm so happy to hear how good your brunch experience was Samantha. Reservations for brunch are great for us and our guests--no more waiting in line for an hour! Just call ahead or make a reservation online and we will make sure we have a patio table for you next time. We'd love to see you again soon.Cheers!Chef Greg

Verde Cocina is a celebration of NW fresh ingredients with options for everyone. Looking for a juicy steak, a delicious cheese filled quesadilla, AND a hearty vegan entree to satisfy everyone in your group? You've come to the right place. Our entire menu
Verde Cocina is a casual and easy restaurant. There is a bar downstairs and a dining room upstairs. Not particularly quiet, but that food was well made and not fancy. The meal was exactly the right amount for an easy dinner.

We were looking for a restaurant within walking distance of our accommodations in the Sellwood area of Portland. The landlord had a binder with menus and we felt like having something other than bar food. We weren't sure of the restaurant location, so we phoned and the restaurant personnel went out of their way to give us good directions. The food was unusually good--we had a satay sampler with associated sauces and a Thai style coconut curry. For desert we shared hand made toasted coconut ice cream and fried bananas. I was glad it wasn't too sweet. I also had a great local IPA. We appreciated the low key decor and quiet ambiance. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. We didn't notice any cleanliness issues mentioned by another reviewer. Service was good.
