A couple went to dinner on Saturday around 6.30pm. Luckily a table for 2 was available but we saw larger parties waiting inside the door. Service was swift & efficient. Staff overall appeared school age bit were well trained. We asked to sit outside but no food served outside.... disappointing given the superb weather. Menu was limited but affordable. Food was good but not wow. One had burger & chips.... yummy, one had fish and chips which was enjoyable. The batter was not greasy & the fish appeared fresh. Overall a good feed in nice surroundings. They would make a killing if they could offer al fresco

Rustic fine dining Restaurant
What can I say about a restaurant that leaves you speechless. The food was absolutely delicious and amazingly presented. My parents decided to take myself and my fiancé for dinner to celebrate our engagement. The wine was also excellent with a great list. The setting and ambience of the restaurant was beautiful and it really did feel like a Michelin start restaurant in London.Thank you to Kieran and his team for the excellent evening. We will definitely be back next year when I visit my parents again.P.S. The steak was to die for!

The pub is open all year round from 10am until late. Food is served by Kieran's Kitchen from March until beginning of November. Last orders at 8.45pm. In spring 2011, Peter Curtin embarked on a new endeavour: He set up the Burren Brewery in the Roadside T
Fabulous place to visit, food amazing, dropped in after visiting the Burren Smokehouse, a great place for lunch! Staff very friendly and attentive. My brother had bacon and cabbage, and my sister in law and I shared the platter. Fabulous pate and smoked salmon as well as cheese and meat!

Sheedy's is a lovely hotel and the restaurant is impeccable, and impeccably run. We could hardly have been treated with more warmth and attention from the wait staff. My issue with it is simply that it needs to haul itself into the 21st century with a bit more enthusiasm by embracing more than one vegetarian main to allow choice. To have one main - a somewhat indifferently cooked squash ragout - is frustrating. I also ordered a green salad that had a straight-out-of-the-bag look and taste. I'm sure that all this is down to a lack of local demand. But with so many eating less meat or turning to veganism/vegetarianism, and with numerous chefs worldwide showing how it can be done, one hopes that change is on the way.
