My wife and I treated ourselves to Kamimura for her birthday. The entire experience was superb, from the moment Jack greeted us at the entrance and guided us to our table, chatting charmingly. Wiggy served us, with the right balance of engagement and stay-back. Her description of the complex combinations of ingredients were superb. We went for the wine pairings with the set course, and the sommelier was really great. She had picked very interesting wines, some Japanese ones (watch out for J-wines, they will be great in 10 years). We loved it. The entire restaurant joined my jovially when I burst out into song (happy birthday), as Wiggy set down desert, with a sparkling candle set into the ice cream. Kamimura himself came to say hello at the end, he was charming and deservingly proud of his “product”, including his team that delivers the service. Great night

Doesn't matter if you are looking for GOOD woodfired pizza, just a sneaky sandwich, or an AMAZING coffee, White Rock is the place for it. Never been disappointed by the food or coffee, in addition all their pastries are desserts are just delicious. The staff are super friendly to boot!

We did an impromptu visit for dinner and they picked us up at our hotel and we had an amazing dinner. As heavy snow fell outside they carved roast beef, delivered French inspired Japanese delicacies and were so eager to please. The wine list was great and not unreasonable. The architecture is so on point and little touches like the wallpaper and candles in the snow wall outside make it a memorable restaurant. But it’s the staff that are 10/10. Brilliant night. Thank you very much for coming and also thanks for the positive comments. We are glad that you enjoyed the dinner. It’s a good restaurant and with affordable prices. It is near Kutchan station about 8min walk. Drink special is great with 1500 JPY you can have unlimited drinks. And there are more specials to choose from. Restaurant environment is warm and cozy and food taste great.Mix of Chinese, Japanese, Italian there is a bit for everyone. This place is good for groups and couples. Only reason why I have this restaurant 4 is I think service can be improved, staff are great but they get frantic and forget things if foreigner walks in. And they are quiet young so they need a little seriousness but the service was good. Just picking on small things I observed. I have already been to this restaurant twice and I would definitely go again. Smoking area is outside the restaurant which is great.
