Went for lunch with group of walkers. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had £7 goats cheese baguette which was generously filled with cheese and salad. Excellent, best sandwich have had recently. Pleasant staff and good service. Nice pub atmosphere.

The Queens Head has to be my favoured local restaurant, being about 100 metres from my front door. However, about 3 years ago, I had 3-4 consecutive bad experiences (cold food [not salad], wrong dishes delivered and lousy service). I stopped visiting and moved my preference down the road.About three months my circumstances changed meaning that I would eat out every evening. I chose to return to the Queens Head and do not regret the decision one tiny little bit. The new landlord and his staff are a different breed. They are very keen to please and work extremely hard at busy times. The food and selection has also improved immensely. For example Mussels and Scallops are now regularly available and very well cooked/prepared.So all in all I am able to thoroughly recommend this quaint Pub.

We booked a table for sunday lunch on recommendation and were not disappointed. Fantastic venue, lovely helpful staff in particular duty manager Tom who was especially helpful. The food was incredible, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Great value for money and worth every penny. Will definitely return. Dear Traceyv38,Thank you for having posted your review. We all look forward to welcoming you back soonest.Regards,Andrew

Has all the hallmarks of a place in terminal decline. Limited menu with only mains and puds. No starters. Food unremarkable: standard fayre done Ok but nothing more. Ambience zero, atmosphere the same. Prices cheaper than when it was in previous hands but now there's no reason to go out of your way to visit (which there was before) No real choice on beers. Average in every respect.

The Courtyard Café is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Hartley Wintney. Tucked away behind Hartley Antiques centre, our beautiful café and courtyard garden is a haven of calm. The team here at the Courtyard Café would love to welcome yo
We came here for afternoon drinks and cakes on a recent visit to Hartley Whitney. It was a sunny day so we sat outside in the sunshine, nice setting, service was good, we had coffees and various scones, toasted tea cakes etc, all good, would come back again next time we are in the area.Thank you so much for taking the time to post this lovely review. We are so pleased you had a lovely visit and we very much look forward to seeing you when you are next back in the area.
