Reviews on Contemporary food in Gulfport, Mississippi, United States. Gulfport, Mississippi, one half of the Gulfport-Biloxi section of the Gulf Coast, was very nearly destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. The city has been gradually reconstructed, and the surrounding natural areas have been rebuilding themselves as well. Visit the barrier islands that form Gulf Islands National Seashore, a parkland along the Mississippi Sound. A ferry runs from Gulf Port to Ship Island, with unspoiled white beaches and tidal pools, boardwalks and historic sites to explore.

I've eaten at the newly RE-opened White Pillars several time and Cat has been my server on both occasions. Highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the small plates are excellent. I love the farm-to-table concept and look forward to my next visit.

It is in the smoking part of Island View Casino. The salad bar is Hugh. Anything and everything you would want for salad fixings even different types of lettuce. Plus different types of side dishes pasta and fruit salads. Two different kinds of soup. Had cranberry muffins. This bar can make a complete meal for you. They also have a full menu and can get the salad bar for $5.00 when order an entree. Didnât look at the salad bar before ordered my burger. Burger was large and came with cheese, tomato and onion. In small cups on your plate they put ketchup, mustard and mayo and sweet pickles on the side. Burger came with fries but offered me different options, since didnât want the fries. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
