Excellent service and location! Visited with some friends and family from Brazil and the US. My American and Brazilian friends loved the environment and food. Quick, friendly service, and great price. Well worth a visit if you are spending the day or weekend in Gramado!

I took my family to Gramado for the day. To top things off, we had fondue at the Swiss Cottage. We ordered fondue at R$72 per person, about U$33 with August 31, 2013 exchange. It was all you can eat. Everything was excellent from parking, greeting, seating and, of course, food.

A place with soul, which translates into its dishes the taste and simplicity of a true bistro cuisine. Burgers, homemade pasta, risottos, soups, the traditional cream on bread, and tasty treats, with a beautiful presentation of antipasto and crunchy mix.
Waiter was nearly unwelcoming, but it was past 10 pm, so we decided to stay. We ordered the food and even though most tables were about to finish their meals, our dishes took ages to be served. My husband's dish did not come any close to our expectations whereas, the gravy on my 'Steak au Poivre' tasted like earth. I tried to set it aside, but it did not help, so I left most of it. Later I realized that something was probably really wrong about it, because I ended up feeling sick!
