Córdoba was once the premier city of the Western World, the greatest metropolis west of Constantinople, and the seat of Europe’s first university. Today, there’s a modern commercial center, but most travelers love strolling the town’s ancient cobblestone streets, peeking through gates for glimpses of lush flowers and beautiful tiled fountains.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Regadera last week. Rarely do you come across a meal that is excellent from start to finish and ours was. We started with the Croquettes and Mazzamora soup, delicious and beautifully presented. For our mains we selected the Red Tun Tartare and Pork Cheeks, again nothing short of amazing. The lemon dessert was shared and I can honestly say that is one of the most wonderful desserts I have ever tasted. If we lived in Cordoba we would be regular guests of this fine establishment. Hats off to the chef.

Despite the price hike, it still features the best cuisine in town. Three journeys, 17 dishes and great surprises. The winners this time where the smell throughout the restaurant (local variety of a smoked lavender), the spicy river fish dish and others I will leave yourself to find. Exquisite service as expected and an overall superb experience.

This charming restaurant, led by Francisco and Narciso brothers, is located in a traditional neighborhood of the city, the district of San Lorenzo. In found a cozy restaurant for a maximum of thirty people. We try to give the customer a feeling of comfort
My husband and I stumbled across this restaurant and they were kind enough to accommodate us for dinner without a reservation. The service was impeccable, the food superb and the whole experience was worth every Euro. We had the beef croquettes, goats cheese salad, mushroom risotto, beef carpaccio and the creme brulee to finish. We're only in Cordoba for 2 days and are seriously contemplating going back for dinner tonight.

We had one of our the best food experiences in Córdoba so far in El Evero. Beautiful food, great taste in the selection and combination of ingredients. The staff couldn't be better: very friendly and we could tell they really know about the food and drinks they serve there. Thank you for the amazing experience. We will certainly go back.

Casa Pepe Sanchis specializes in Mediterranean and Cordovan food, reflecting the roots of the chef, Jose Sanchis Specialities: rice (over 40 types), and the most typical dishes of Cordoba salmorejo, oxtail, eggplant with honey meats of "sierra de Cardena
We went there on a Sunday morning, and the place was absolutely crowded. We ordered "Arroz a Banda", a seafood and fish paella with alioli, for four people. "Arroz a banda" is one of my top choices in terms of paellas. The rice was excellent and perfectly cooked. However, I have two complains about it. First, I think the flavor wasn't very intense (it is suppose to have a strong seafood and fish flavor). Second, the paella has some mussels. It is the first time I see mussels in "Arroz a banda" (maybe that is the original the recipe... who knows...). We got a white wine from Montilla-Moriles (I think it was a verdejo), which was excellent. Friendly stuff, good service, adequate prices. For sure, I will come back to try a different one.Hello Raul B,Thank you for your review. Delighted to welcome again. RegardsPepe Sanchis
