Had lunch here yesterday. No booking yet we were accommodated by a very pleasant and efficient maitre dâ.Our server Jamie was first class.We both had pizza which, although smaller than when we ate here last, were as equally delicious.Would highly recommend.

Met some friends here for Sunday lunch, reserving a table was a good move as it was pretty busy. We had starters all the way through to dessert....all the courses were fantastic! No question or request was too much either, servers were attentive. Would certainly recommend if you were in the area

The likeable couple, their chef and staff are to be applauded for attempting to re-establish this pub and restaurant. The pub is welcoming and friendly with excellent ales. The menu is good and portions generous with reasonable pricing. I can thoroughly recommend the beef and mushroom pie, while on my second visit the beer battered fish and chips was faultless. The beer is well kept and a modest wine list carries some decent and affordable options.
