In the central and lively Savassi neighbourhood, this bar with a nice dehors offers a very good unpasteurized beer (chopp), among the many choices I got the Traditional (a fresh pilsner), incredibly smooth, creamy and tasty, among the best ever tasted of its kind, try it! Food is just average, service is fast and kind, quality/price ratio is good for BH. Recommended!

We went there with friends and family to celebrate a birthday. Reservation of tables is only possible until 19.30h but the bar is with plenty of space. You can have small bites or diner. The food is refined food from the region. The caipirinhas were not good but other cocktails and beer were very nice. I loved the Moscow mule, a cocktail with ginger! The bar has a modern look and service is kind

I am a New Zealander living in Belo Horizonte and I felt obligated to write this review about Agosto Butiquim. Situated in Prado (a traditional suburb close to the city centre, it is a trendy Mineiro-style "buteco" with a great ambient vibe as well as tremendous food and drink. The staff are extremely friendly and the menu provides a wide range of variation which captures the local culture very well and provides a chance to branch out if you are feeling like something a little different! There are the traditional pub snacks (Brazilian style of course), full meals, craft beers and a great selection of Cachaças. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into making the experience as good as possible and he has definitely succeeded in my opinion. I would recommend this place whether you are going with a group, or for a quiet drink with a friend or significant other. Their food and drink entries to various competitions that they enter are all on their menu and they are outstanding..... I highly recommend paying this place a visit when if you are in Belo Horizonte. I went to many similar "Butecos" as part of this year's bar competition season and I would rate this as the best that I went to!

Found Casa Amora while wandering around Savassi. It's a wonderful little place with a very homey vibe to it. Nothing fancy, but good food and nice people and slightly on the hippy side. Would definitely recommend it.

The place is pretty cool!! Decor is suitable, environment is great, staff is super friendly, service is quick and prices are reasonable. There are almost no down sides to Kanpai. This is by far the best restaurant in town. Creative dishes and a sommelier that helps you to find the best friend for your meal. Fresh ingredients, well prepared dishes and a relaxed and well decorated environment. If you have time to visit one place, this is the one to go.
