A nice local restaurant with earthy local food at reasonable prices. The restaurant seems to have two rooms, I found the first one a bit dark and austere , whilst the second one, more towards the back, was much lighter and more inviting. My asparagus with ham, potatoes was delicious. All very fresh. The open house white was very drinkable too!

A welcome place from the bustling and touristic via Portici. The spaghetti (al dente!) and the mussels (cozze) were delicious, also the tomato, feta (with some other ingredients) salad was nicely presented and prepared! Service was courteous and friendly! - a very positive surprise were the washrooms/toilets!

A beautiful, old building with an amazing view over Merano and the valley. It would be the perfect place for a light lunch or a drink. Sadly it is grossly overpriced. Admittedly I have only had a tea, but at over 5 Euro, I thought that adding a pastry would have been just extravagant. Yes, it was a loose leave tea and it even had a minute biscuit, but still..........

We had seen reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to make a reservation. The restaurant itself is very appealing and beautifully decorated. The service from the seating to the check was outstanding. Without being obtrusive our waitress was there to give more water, bread and even more ice without ever asking. The owner dropped by to make sure all was to our liking. The food was well prepared with fresh and locally grown vegetables. The pasta was cooked just right, the specials were unusual combinations, but perfect to the taste. Our party has risotto, lasagna and shrimp. Every dish was exception. Each table is decorate with a basket of fruit. The owner brought us some cherries as well. We were offered an after dinner drink but passed on dessert(too full). I guarantee you will not be disappointed..

Most probably a Terra visit will turn it to 2nd favorite only.Other */**/*** Michelin restaurants you've enjoyed in the past will seem simply "cute" compared to the sheer power and sophistication of Terra."Comparable" restaurants you'll visit in the future, where everybody else at the table will be crying with pleasure will be "good enough, but not Terra".Luckily, we all tend to forget. So the memory of such perfection is fading away slowly but surely. You'll start doubting your memory and you, as I did, might think that their perfection was a matter of momentary emotion. Until you return and rediscover: It's not!Two years after my first visit, I am spoiled again with the memory and the "burden" of perfection...and yet I'm not sure I want this memory to go away!To the Schneider family: my deepest thanks for another moment of pure perfection!

An unusual find in Suedtirol: US and Argentinian beef. The owner's passion for his product can be felt in every aspect of this restaurant. Very nice, well priced wine list, excellent service, good size steaks and the "special" grill.If you need a change from pizza and pasta, then don't miss this place!

We've returned here this year. We compared this restaurant with other ones we passed walking, this one had a signigicant larger menu.For the kids, there was Kaiserschmarren - lovely pancakes. We had a pasta and a plate of local meats and cheeses. Lovely.
